To the new fast food joint; your customer service is really lame. I went with my reusable mug to try some of your coffee which was free for your promotion. First, I experienced attitude, for I guess just ordering a free item, second, my mug had a bit of old coffee in the bottom and when I asked it be rinsed the answer was no, that it was against policy. Fine, but then the server just stared at me like an idiot instead of offering me a cup of coffee in a restaurant cup. She just let me walk away feeling embarrassed and annoyed. Koda but that’s what the restaurant is trying to do, get you to buy something. Hell, if you’re offering free, I’ll take it and nothing else.
If I saw a sign that said “Come try our coffee for free” I would go in and expect a free coffee. I wouldn’t be like “Gee, what a swell promotion, I should buy some stuff while I’m in there so I can spend money while I am getting my free coffee.”

I hate this sort of bitch, mostly because this sort of service is so common. Many people do not know how to be courteous, let alone the more subtle aspects of customer service. The big burger stores all have training, but it is mostly about the technical aspects of the job, rather than actual customer service. In this, they are all the same. Not my kind of business, that is for sure.

I should add that fast food restaurants are for poor people. I have a very successful retail business on Spring Garden Road and drive an expensive car and have a beautiful waterfront condo so I only dine in the most expensive places around town and always ensure I wear my date just watch so they know how important I am. I’m very important you know. I run a very successful retail business on Spring Garden Road afterall!
