To the people on the 102 every morning: what do you prove by gunning your engine to pass me and then slowing down so I catch up and pass you a minute later? And you always do it right when I’m about to pull out and pass someone, causing me to slam on my brakes. You do realize there’s a button called “Cruise Control”? Guess what, I use it! And if I’m already going faster than you, what’s the point in passing me in the first place? Get off the road so I can get to work on time!

  1. Oh. My. God.

You do not understand how frustrated this makes me. I hate playing that game on the highway here.

  2. “Most cars don’t have cruise control”. Really ?Gezz I thought that was considered a basic options now.

  3. Maybe now, but many older model cars don’t have it.
Not saying it excuses the behavior, but many don’t have the option.

  4. I’m told we’re in a recession – not everyone can afford a new car nowadays where options like cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows are standard.

  5. On PEI it’s terrible as there is only 1 lane on the highway, with the occasional temporary passing lane… of course every asshole takes the passing lane and is usually running right beside you by the time the lane merges back to one, forcing you to either A) Crash or B) Slow down and merge hoping that their is no one behind you C) Come to a screeching halt, again, hoping no one is behind you. Once I even passed a truck on the highway full of drunken idiots who then proceeded to pass me and drive incredibly slowly… If I tried to pass again they would cut me off… nice people. But yeah, I completely agree with this bitch.

  6. PEI drivers are FUCKING HORRIBLE! Some of the absolute worst, most asshole drivers in Canada.

  7. LOL….funny. I drive a constant 10km/hr over the limit on the highways. If people want to pass me, they are going to have to drive faster than that. I don’t bother slowing down because I keep hoping the cops will catch them going 120km/hr and then get a nice ticket as a gift.
