I guess you think you are pretty beautiful in your coyote fur jacket. You are not. That wild dog was though. People like you suck the magic out of this world. Hope you find yourself in a leg hold trap someday soon, suffer and are skinned for a fucking jacket. —ThatFadIsSad

  1. Coyotes are overpopulated in Canada and are becoming a pest/threat problem.

Animal rights veiled psychopaths who want to de-glove other people are another problem altogether.

  2. I guess this dipshit missed the big Goose thread about a month or so ago. Fuck off, man has been using animals for clothing for millions of years.

  3. OB, a leg hold trap is a humane trap that allows the trapper to selectively release their catch. In the old days, the trap would have ripped their freaking head off even if it was a protected species.

  4. Seven billion people in this world and counting and coyotes are overpopulated? Coyotes will try and avoid people pretty much all the time. The Taylor Mitchell tragedy of a few years ago touched off a bout of mass hysteria where people were seeing dangerous coyotes everywhere. To date, two people (including Mitchell) have been killed by coyotes, ever.
Yes mankind has been using for a long, long time but 99% of that has been for survival not for fashion as it is now. Wearing the skin of sentient animals to try and get attention just rubs me the wrong way.

  5. They don’t stick it on there for trendiness, twit(and I’m sure petroleum based faux fur is just so much more cruelty free). Real fur is a helluva lot more effective in the extreme cold the coats are made for; hipster fashionistas buying them doesn’t negate that. Try talking to someone from Yellowknife or Iqaluit first and get an informed opinion instead of straight out of your ass.

  6. I have a rusty old leg hold trap in my back yard still tied to the tree, with a little massaging and lubing, should be good as new. Anyone in need of such a thing?

  7. I would argue that there are good alternatives to fur even in extreme cold but really how many people percentage-wise live in extreme cold anyway? .001% of the population? So the demand for fur isn’t there.
The plain fact is with the gains in fabric technology, real fur isn’t needed. I don’t understand why some feel the need to wear it or the psychology behind it but it must be some “look at me” thing or maybe it makes them feel badass I don’t know.
It reminds me of the rhino horn daggers that some men wear particular in Africa and the Middle East. Completely pointless when you consider the cost.

  8. “So, if we eat the coyotes after skinning it, does that make it okay to wear?”

Well put, Meaty. People don’t realise that life is a continual act of violence. For example, monks/nuns in the Jain reigion closely inspect the fruits and veggies they eat, lest it contain bugs. They walk carefully, so they don’t step on any bugs, etc. One of their saints refused to deal with his head lice .. he didn’t want to kill those sentient creatures.

So how far does one go, trying to be compassionate towards the other creatures in this world? Personally, I follow the Buddha .. who, though some may be surprised to hear it, was a meat eater.

It’s a matter of personal decision, with no concrete right or wrong, as i see it.

    P.S

Meaty, I have a question I would like to put to you. It’s about male and female homosexuals, an honest question. Would you be willing to answer it, if you are able?

  9. Budd-Ha, I swear you have two tumbleweeds rolling around in that big, empty cranium of yours.

Your parents should be ashamed for spawning such a complete twit.

  10. step right up folks, it’s mister meaty’s basic course for inquisitive straights who really, really need to know ‘how we do IT’.

and of course any and all gay people are so eager to be accepted, loved and welcomed into the fold of het privilege they will all fall over themselves explaining everything.

tt, perhaps she is a remittance git.

  11. any excuse will do, even illogical ones. understanding how wolves/coyotes could be considered to be ‘so cool’ and yet treated so shitty is beyond most. the canada goose company does however make another good example of the harper government and joe oliver handing over/raping a ‘natural resource’. one thing will be perpetually true @ThatFadIsSad; dumb university cunts will always be dumb university cunts. and hey, guess who their parents voted for..
