To the “lovely” server at a certain cafe downtown who had the gall to give us attitude when we asked (after an hour of waiting) how much longer the food would take, and then kept the tip and $3.00 for the cold coffee: You suck, your cafe sucks, and it’s crazy that we had to pay money to waste over an hour of our Saturday in your crappy stink-hole of a restaurant and then get attitude from you. I hope you go out of business and I’m gunna do my best to make sure you do. —Hungry and Angry Market-Goer

  1. ah, another restaurant bitch, love them. my advice o.p., check the listings online, see what they say, and rate your dining on site after you finish. the coast has one here i believe, check it out. takes a few minutes, and maybe, next time, you won’t have to wait for the harvest or the beef to grow up. there is a place in stewiacke like that, really good food, prices reasonable, but the wait time is murder. but everyone knows, and does something else til their food comes.

  3. You waited for an hour for food at a ‘cafĂ©’, not a full fleged resto, before asking about the order?? Should have been asking at about 20 mins. tops. I do not mean being nasty to them, but at least ‘prodding’ bit. First sign of ‘tude’ from the server – time to WALK. Pay for whatever you may have had yes, but certainly no tip, other than what they could maybe do with parts of their anatomy.

  4. Okay, so, I work at a cafe, and I know I wouldn’t wanna be punished for a dumbass co-worker’s mistake. Therefore, get the co-worker in trouble, not a bunch of others.
