why don’t people in halifax use craigslist for anything?
people choose kijiji instead.
this is maybe the only city in canada that is this way.

Because Craigslist is used by sex offenders and murderers.
that’s what I was going to mention..but anyhow …
What difference does it make? What’s wrong with Kijiji?
Back in my dumbass days, I was almost scammed out of 2,000 dollars there. Don’t ask me how. Now with the MA ‘craigslist killer’, I wouldn’t touch that heinous site with a ten foot pole if my life depended on it.
Fuck you “the mugger”….you beat me to the punchline 🙁
Whatever works.
I’ve seen tons of sketchy ads on kijiji, so it’s not like it’s special…
it was what was adopted quickest.
what makes craig and his list so special?
Really the best thing you could do is to post your classifieds on the Coast Classifieds. I hear they are the safest and the most read classifieds…uh…on this site.
Because Craigslist sucks.
craigslist is not laid out as good as far as displaying images of the thing for sale.
Craigslist is the quickest and most hassle free way to post things. They go up instantly, unlike Kijiji where it takes up to 24 hours. And for those who don’t know, kijiji is owned by ebay… Which given the demographic of the coasts bitch community is bad (down with anyone who makes a profit/lives above the poverty threshold!)
There is nothing wrong with Kijiji!
i have only heard fo Craigs list when someone was murdered fromt here :0
There is a craigslist Halifax, and you are free to use it any old time you wish. I never sold anything on it though. I have however, had a 100% success rate in selling stuff on kijiji. just my two cents.
I love Ebay.
In my experience, which means about a dozen ads, it does not take 24 hours for an ad to appear on kijiji. That’s complete bullshit. I had to sell me tickets for the first Neil Young concert this past December, and I had replies to my ad within 10 minutes.
Yeah, my ads usually pop up right away. I’ve had a lot of success both selling on there and finding stuff I want for cheap. I only use craigslist when I’m looking for a new roommate.
And when I’m reading this site, heh:

I think there could easily be a you suck at Kijiji blog, some of the stuff I’ve seen on there is just beyond.
Oh ya, I forgot that part…24 hours to see your post? Sucks to be you, as mine were immediate..always.
nice link rat!
Yeah it’s a good time waster for sure 🙂
There *is* now a you suck at kijiji blog … at yousuckatkijiji.com … started by a Haligonian, strangely enough.
