I went to the Elton John concert on Friday night… it was phenomenal! Sir Elton is a classic and is still in VERY fine form. His voice, scrumptious… his piano playing, brilliant!
As we were thoroughly enjoying the show, my sister nudges me to show me what her ‘neighbour’ is doing… busily berry-picking and what’s worse, she never applauded, let alone stand with the rest of us for the countless ovations! I really have to wonder why you bothered to attend the concert… you could have donated or sold your ticket to the MANY who are devoted fans and would have enjoyed the show! I’m just grateful that the majority of the audience were there to ENJOY and show their appreciation to Sir Elton for his wonderful talents! Next time, leave your crack-berry at home… or better yet, STAY HOME yourself!

Why do you care? It’s not like they were disrupting the show.Maybe you should worry less about what other audience members are doing and enjoy the “scrumptious” (??) show. The whole blackberry backlash is getting a little tired, if you ask me.
There is an entire generation that has succumbed to cellphone/blackberry addiction. The need to be constantly in touch with others of their kind.I predict the govt will soon roll out programs using tax dollars from the Dept of Health Promotion to treat these poor unfortunate creatures.
So fucking what? I mean, really?I had a friend drag me to see Tina Turner at the Metro Centre. I didn’t stand once.
I really wish the sun would go down on Elton John.
And while I’m at it, Billy Joel bites too. I hate that Sylvester Stallone lookalike!!
Sorry, I’m just killing time before I begin my Steven Seagal marathon. I’ve got ‘The Glimmer Man’, ‘Shadow Man,’ and my favorite, ‘Fire Down Below’. Did you know that while filming Fire Down Below, Steven was actually sufferring a severe bout of gonorreah? Poor guy!!
Gonnorrhea? hahaha How ironic…I always imagined Steven Seagal as the kind of guy who goes to whorehouses and punches the girls around…
