in snowy nasty weather on the highway drive when everyone is going 60 or 70 kmh please don’t leave your hazards on as it is really annoying to be behind bright flashing lights for any length of time -we are all going slow for a reason that doesn’t need to be highlighted

It is the law… annoying or no.
The hazard lights are primarily to warn other drivers that a slow moving vehicle is ahead. I kind of agree with OP that if a line of cars are going under 70 kph only the rear one needs the hazards.
