  1. There was no snow in Bethlehem (if you’re concerned about having snow for “Christmas”).

At least you don’t have to shovel rain.

No worries, though, you’ll still get about 4 months of it. 🙂

  2. Yep….I am pretty sure that this is the complete opposite of what would be considered a “bitch.”

  3. Warmish? Rain? Is warmish even a word? My spellcheck thinks so… Anyhoo, if you want cold and snow, move to just about any other city that isn’t on the coast. We get damp winters.

  4. anyone that wants it to snow/be cold for any reason other than skiing/snowboarding is a prick. fuck snow.

  5. all the seasons are shifting…. hell, I was in a t-shirt the other day and had no qualms forgetting my jacket to pop down to the mall.

jan-march will be plenty cold enough… just be patient.

and BTW, it’s not winter yet… one more week to go.

  6. I hope it’s 22 degrees celsius & sunny on Christmas day…I’ll go swimming !
As a matter of fact if I am fortunate enough to live another 100 years & it only snows once in all that time around here…it’ll be one time too many as far as I’m concerned. If it wasn’t for family, personal commitments, & my job. I’d be living somewhere alot further south..which is part of my retirement plan. (I would say come on retirement…but I don’t want to wish my life away )

  7. I want snow but I only want it when it suits me. I want a light snow on Christmas Eve to Christmas morning. Just enough to make everything look pretty and feel festive. Then I want it to go away on boxing day.

  8. Last I heard, Jack Frost was on the radio talking to some dude with a New York accent who was pissed off at him for going off the roads during one of his stoowwwrrms. He was going the speed limit, but Mr. Frost informed him that during winter conditions he should have slowed down. I therefore suggest you call the local radio stations in order to speak with Mr. Frost, OP.

Go south of the Equator if you don’t want a white Christmas since it’s summer down there at the moment (for whatever reason, their seasons begin at the first of the month rather than the 19, 20, 21, 22, or whatever it may actually be).

  9. Haha I’m missing a warm winter back home – southern alberta already has had a two week -30 to -40 streach and a couple huge snow storms that buried sections of town for days – are YOU sure OP you really want winter ? Well , atleast I got my snownoard out ,polished , waxed and used a bunch of times !!! I wanna tell you , unless you have ski’s /snowboard and a seasons pass to martook , don’t wish it – oh yea northern alberta was the coldest place on earth a few days back . Makes you really really appreciate what we have for winters back home – it is now +2 here – enjoy the warm Scotians – cause I think OP might have pissed mother nature off and she’s gonna give ya a white juan !!!PS I will front you the ticket up here – we have plenty winter !!!

  10. I must admit that I do like for it to be a bit snowy and cold in winter, otherwise I don’t get to wear all my nice winter coats and hats. It’s the wind really that’s most annoying. Snow is best when it’s lightly falling straight down, not being blown in your face. And it just needs to snow, then be like -2 for a while, so we don’t get all those horrible slush ice problems.

  11. I like snow but I don’t like the cold because I pretty much work outside. So you’re only half fucked, OP.

No Green Christmas please, so depressing.

  12. well look at that.
    ya jinxed it.
feels like -22 right now…. wonderful.
*goes to dig out his touque*

  13. Told ya so and we got the warm – thanks to the OP for that trade !!! Now hang on tight while white juan wreaks havoc back home !!!
