Just because I “look” a certain way and my bf “looks” different why do you people have to judge him or I?? I love him and he loves me and we may not be the “cookie-cutter” image of what you people think a couple should look like, BUT that doesn’t mean we don’t love and respect each other…SO GET OFF OUR CASE…Yes my bf has a fake leg and yes I look like I would date someone straight laced, you don’t know us, and if you did you would see our LOVE WILL LEAD THE WAY!!

Good. It’s not essential, but it’s definately important to have your family and friends support your obviously healthy relationship.
And we are very lucky, those who know us and are involved in our lives see what a perfect match we actually are for each other, and they too are our biggest cheerleaders…hopefully we will run into more open minded people like you and Matt in our lives instead of the morons who can’t think outside the box or bubble of the little world they live in

I’ve been using the expression ‘sucks a stump’ for years but it’s in reference to a tree stump, not an amputee stump. Your reaction is totally understandable. It’s not my intention to hurt you or anyone on this board.

Well I will tell you Matt, stupid twits in this city are brazen enough to say something without being provoked….we were walking down Spring Garden rd last summer and 3 fuking tools of teenagers, started yelling, look at the peg leg with the hot chick, and was I so brazen enough to say something or pretend I didn’t hear, they were sitting on the patio of McD’s and got a large coke dumped in their faces, and as they sat there soaking wet, I proceeded to tell them what kind of uneducated foul mouthed little piss ants who if they wanted to say something again, the next story they would be telling is about the grown ass woman who kicked their ass on Spring Garden Rd…..they apologized and we walked away….Walking up Kempt Rd last fall, my bf walks with a prominent limp, because of his prosthetic, and some stupid uneducated ass in the Subway parking lot made a snide comment about the strut on that white boy, and they said it loud enough to make sure we heard, and again my blood fuking boils and I jumped to my bf’s defense, I asked the punk if he actually stopped to think for one moment that there might be a reason that white boy walks the way he does, and he shouldn’t open his narrow little mouth to try and stir up shit…I don’t defend my bf because I have to, he is more man than I have ever been with, but my personality and my love for this man doesn’t allow me to stand by and do or say nothing….and if people asked, instead of made comments he is so open to tell people about how he was born that way and how it happened and what it’s like to live with his disability, and so on the outside we look opposite, he dresses in black, hard rocker, and I dress and look different, current cute style, long well manicured hair, nails, but that man is more beautiful then I could ever be on the outside and he loves me more and in a way I have never been loved before…so for the twits who get my blood boiling and are brazen enough to say something they get said something right back and for those who look and stare…ASK we’d rather you ask then point and stare!!
