  1. when i wash things i usually use water first, perhaps its the best to streetclean?its because this person has a schedule, tax dollars will be paying this person for those hours regardless because our system is malfunctioning

  2. I never thought about it but it sort of makes sense – he’s using the rain water instead of extra water needed on a dry day. The street will still get clean washing it in the rain, won’t it?

  3. The rain only washes away a small amount of dirt on the road. When street cleaning machines do their work (the brushes swirling, sucking up debris), that sucking action gets rid of the stuff the rain didn’t send down the storm drain. The street cleaners need to clean the roads regardless of weather, I as a pedestrian appreciate it.

  4. You’d have to be environmentally challenged not to know that rain water and the water a street cleaner would use are two different things. I hope they cleans the streets, alright. Rain or shine.
