There is this thing called a garbage shoot. I know this is a new contraption to someone who lives on the same floor in my apartment building. You take your trash to the garbage room, you just have to open the little trap door and throw it down. Why are you so lazy? Is it really that hard to open the garbage shoot and put your bag in? Also, why do you just throw your loose recycleable’s in the room, why not bag them and perhaps wash them out. There are now mice because of your laziness. I know I am not the only one who noticed that you are a pig, judging by the notes left in the room, and notice sent out by the super.
I am sick of having to deal with your mess. Stop being a lazy pig.

i agree, where I live they seem to make it to the chute okay, but the contents of the bags seem to spontaneously explode. the result is a unholy, stinking mess. I know it may be a puzzlement considering where some tenants come from these days, but at the bottom of that big silver thing is a bigger green thing. and funny men come in the wee hours of the morning and it just goes away. so you can do it again tomorrow. someone has to clean up after you, and I wonder whom they might be.
Take all their garbage and put it right in front of their door so the only way for them to get out is if they move it. If they keep moving it out of the way (and not in the dumpster) do it again and again til they get the picture.

at least it’s makign it to a shoot, my building doesn’t have one, just a dumpster in back. which is fine except for the crazy chick downstairs who likes to pile her bags in the back staircase and just let it fester till someone else buckles and takes it away…in the winter the standoff could last a while, but now that it’s so hot? no. I’d rather heave a sigh and take her garbage out then put up with that stench.
