Help his rep? He could end violence against women and he’d still be a wife-beating chicken-shit-eater…
Did you know a woman can lie through their teeth about being abused and the Byrony house will give them a place to stay and contact the police. Then take part in numerous false police reports without one bit of truth. Then when the lies come out at an emergency court hearing a week later the Byrony house can’t legally kick the woman out.
Byrony house can go fuck themselves, militant dykes!
How about he keep all his money cause, correct me if I’m wrong, he’s already paid for his crime. Do I think he’s a wife beating POS? Absolutely!!!!! Will I support him in any way? Nope!!!!!!!
If we make it a LAW that every artist be an upstanding member of society, sympathetic to any and all humanitarian causes, we’d be left with Bono and a few other shitty artists.
NappyAss – buy a “Family Law and Domestic Assault Charges for Dummies”. Get a tutor to help with the big words, you misogynist mess! New Start for Abusive Men is available in Hfx. for your counselling needs.
Nice. Agree SHITD. Ivan actually made a post on a coast article about Chirs Brown that raised many good points as well. We’ve had many other artists perform here with disreputable pasts, even ones that involved beating women. The only reason people care with Chris Brown is because the media has really hyped the story up. Ivan, if you read this, post that thing here about John Lennon being a wife beater, was an interesting read!
Years ago during an interview Sean Conory admitted to hitting his wife when she needed it…ANY man who assaults a woman or a child is less than human, cowardly piece of shit!
Having said that if he’s cleared to cross our border show your displeasure of what he did by NOT buying a fucking concert ticket.
Here’s the original article I got my intel from, Hoist:

I’m pretty much in agreement with HarperD on this one. I’d never give him a cent of my money, and that’s even if he hadn’t laid his hands on Rihanna. Individuals voting with their wallets because of taste or principle is one thing; there’s something a bit “torch and pitchforky” about the mob calling for him to be banned. My question to the OP is, would Bryony House or any other charity actually accept blood money?
They should let him come in and perform, then to finish off the show get a group of battered women on stage armed with bats and let them Babe Ruth the fucker.
HITTING VS SPANKING: “INTELLIGENCE RESIDES IN THE ABILITY TO MAKE DISTINCTIONS” (Montrealman)
Clearly, what is required in the present case is intelligence which, as I have previously claimed, resides in the ability to make distinctions. But here the relevant distinction to be made is not of the philosophical sort but rather in respect to the prior distinction, that between theory and practice, between reflection and behaviour. What is required, in short, is the behavioural distinction between hitting and spanking.
Hitting, of course, is violence and is unacceptable under any circumstances but spanking is another matter. I want to argue that Chris could, at one time, have dissipated his urge to express his displeasure while stimulating what were clearly his erotic impulses. My claim is that the latter would not only become the dominant emotion in a relatively short period of time but, even more important, his partner’s pleasure would overcome her own displeasure with Chris.
Think about it. Slowly Chris would raise her skirt to reveal her panties clinging to her magnificent thighs. Then he would slowly – everything must be done slowly – slide her panties down past her knees and then, with a quick move, dispose of them completely. Her exquisite labia would then be exposed in all their glory, peeping naughtily out from beneath her delightful pubic tuft. Slowly, Chris would bend forward and give them a loving kiss, perhaps inserting his tongue lightly into her welcoming cleft. Noting her response, he would then move his tongue slowly in and out. Her pelvic thrusts would become more marked. She would begin to moan with pleasure. Caught up in the moment, Chris himself would start breathing heavily, feeling that familiar pressure in his erect member.
Slowly, yes slowly, he would put her over his knees with her beautiful buttocks pointing at him like two golden orbs. They invited, yes demanded, his gentle caresses. Slowly, in a circular pattern, Chris lightly moved his hands over her skin, noting the rise of tell-tale gooseflesh. Their breath became gasps of pleasure. Unable to restrain himself further, Chris began to slap those delicious orbs. At first lightly, then more vigorously, he spanked her until he noticed the unmistakable signs of her breath-taking orgasm. Chris was unable to hold out any longer himself. With a cry of undiluted pleasure, Chris came copiously. Exhausted, both fell into each others arms.
Once again, intelligence viewed as the ability to make distinctions proved efficacious in behaviour as well as in philosophy.
A pleasure as always.
Cheerio!
Erect member? Sounds like someone spends a little too much time basking in the glow (or afterglow) of his Harlequin romance novels!!!!

Really? I’d just see a hypocrite. If he’s going to give money to abused women (and don’t get me wrong, i think he should) he should do it anonymously.

Harlequin romance novels, eh? They must be pretty good, Stephen. By the way, how did you know?
A pleasure as always.
Cheerio!
Yeah Nukka, Bryony house took my batshit crazy mother in based on ‘years of emotional abuse’ from her children and husband. Came back armed with pamphlets and self righteousness, when she had been making OUR lives hell for years.
That said, what can they do? It doesn’t diminish the need for a place like Bryony house. I am sure they do good work for a lot of wmen in need. I also don’t think relating what was obviously a personal experience makes one a misogynist, TongueThroughCheek. It is possible for women, abused or not, to be just as shitty as men.
He recently violated his parole by doing something or other (I forget the exact details), so there’s a chance he might not even make it across the border.
Didn’t he trash his Porsche? He really loved that car. You can tell how much he loved it by how thoroughly he knocked the shit out of it.
Well, MM. My grandmother had quite a vast collection she amassed, no doubt at “Froggies”, in Charlottetown. What’s Froggies, you may be asking yourself? It’s somewhat like “Frenchies”, only independent. As you may know, there isn’t really much to do on PEI on the many rainy days of summer vacation (for a child), and my curiosity may have gotten the best of me. Who would have thought it would provide me the fodder I needed to poke fun of a tired old internet troll, these some 25 years later? What do you know, everything does happen for a reason. Perhaps you can slip the phrase “mossy pudenda” into your next erotic, literary, work of art, as it is a personal favorite.
BeeLine books were far racier than Harlequin romance novels;a lot more fun to read. lol

Well Stephen, as the old saying goes, “What goes around, comes around.” Anyway, I’ll try to work in “mossy pudenda” next time around. Were you reading your Harlequins under the covers with a flashlight? When you came to “mossy pudenda,” did you turn it off? What happened then, Stephen. Did you, um, come around?
A pleasure as always.
Cheerio!
Sorry to disappoint you, MM. I don’t have any underage masturbation stories to curb your sicko, twisted, urges. Please get some help!!!
I was going to ask Nurse Hezz if she’d like to go to Energy Rush…
I’m sorry, but I LOVE the fact that there’s so much anger around this scumbag coming to Halifax. It means there’s anger about domestic violence and it says that it’s NOT ok to be physically violent against a partner (or anyone for that matter). Just forty years ago, this shit wasn’t talked about and many partners suffered violence at the hands of their partners with nowhere to turn. I think this really shows how far we are coming as a society when it comes to these issues.
The thing that really angers me about Chris Brown isn’t totally because he assaulted his partner, it’s his attitude about it. Yes he grew up in a home where domestic violence is prevalent, so it’s not a shock he turned to violence against his partner, himself. And while that is in NO WAY ok, his attitude about the whole thing wasn’t remorse, it was an attitude of “no big deal, why ya mad?” He goes on twitter and has hissy fits because people condemn his behaviour. He even goes so far as getting a motherfucking tattoo of a beat up Rihanna on his face.
If he had’ve been like “yo, I fucked up. What I did was wrong” and gotten help for his problem, than I could see some forgiveness. But to act like a total narcissistic (because he is just that: a narcissist) bastard who obviously feels entitled to beat his ‘woman’ around? He deserves all the condemnation he gets.
Come concert time, this POS is going to get boo-ed out and he’s probably going to have a hissy fit and bitch out. So, I think in the end, he’s going to get exactly what he deserves. Narcissists can’t STAND being criticized or having their ego damaged, and I think the reaction of this crowd is going to do just that. So perhaps him coming here won’t be such a bad thing after all.

Well Stephen, what WERE you doing reading your Harlequins under the covers? Your problem explains a lot about your on-line behaviour. It’s by no means unique. I’m trying to help you, Stephen but I must have your full co-operation and confidence.
A pleasure as always.
MM – I would like to just quietly, maybe even loudly point out that after a fair amount of time reading your comments on this wonderful medium in which people can voice their opinions on the topics of incredibly important things. Such as the inability for people to responsibly drive around cyclists and how meager their tips have been this week.
The amount of time you have to dedicate to your, what I must say without an ounce of sarcasm are incredibly hilarious replies (not) is really quite concerning. I am guessing your job or lack there of must really be an important one for you to have all of this free time.
Great work and keep it up.
Oh by the way no one gives a fuck and I for one AM SUPER FUCKING EXCITED to hear you retort. While you sit there with what i can only imagine is a huge and proud smile on your face as you bask in your own stench of perfection and awesome. Must be tough.
Get a job/get laid/do something meaningful with your life, asshole.
A pleasure as always
Merry go fuck yourself.
John Lennon’s dark past is the liberal’s version of the Inconvenient Truth. I’ve always admired John Lennon and learning about this part of his life was kind of hard to come to terms with. That said, he did dedicate at least part of his short life to ending the Vietnam War.
Chris Brown is a thug, completely unrepentent, and has dedicated his life to getting richer. So the comparisons between the two are remote. Lennon talked about his behavior and how wrong it was. Brown on the other hand refuses to talk about it.
Nurse, wanna get VIP tix?
Ahhh John Lennon. Where, oh where, to begin?
The man who wrote “All You Need Is Love” was distant and emotionally abusive to his son Julian. The man who famously declared “Imagine No Religion” dipped his wick into just about every 60’s era masturbatory feel-good dogma that fell under the marketing rubric of “Eastern Philosophy” The guy who penned “Imagine No Possessions” lived in a luxury New York Apartment surrounded by them. “Nothing to Kill or Die For”? – unless you were a Black Panther or Khmer Rouge cadre. His so-called “activism” comes across ,in hindsight , as little more than contrived publicity stunts to feed a desperate need for attention. But then, that was one of Lennon’s major talents. From his early days as a Ted to his Hippie Jesus persona, he always knew exactly what trends were popular. The man who claimed to have spent the years between Shaved Fish and Double Fantasy baking bread and being a stay-at-home Dad, was actually a misanthropic hermit deep in the throes of heroin addiction with his tapeworm of a wife.
Musical Genius? – Right. Try listening to “I Am The Walrus” without the benefit of Purple Owlsey.
