To the boys and men who still follow the ladies first rule: I friggen’ heart you guys *and* whomever taught you so well.
Thanks for holding doors, smiling at my eyes instead of my tatas and not pushing me out of the way to get on the bus. Most of us appreciate it more than you know. 🙂—Just a girl

It was my mom and dad…. taught me a lot of valuable things. And my Dad is a complete gentleman. I kind of feel like hijacking this and turning it into a love for him.
THANKS Dad for being the example you were…. allowing me to aspire to be even half the Dad/man you are. Miss you……
Here here.
yea well they still pretty much wanna nail youse 😉
I always seem to get these incredulous looks or a lot of rudeness or indifference when I do this, though it doesn’t stop me from thinking ladies first! 🙂
Chivalry… may it never die. I love when a gent opens the door for me, ect. And I always say a very big THANK-YOU. In this way there are two happy people 🙂
Ahh yea I agree – but just a smile from a lady I hold the door or move aside for does me wonders !!!
the smile’s why we do it.
hell, I even hold doors while entering places I know there’s a line…
and people are usually put off by that for a sec until they realize that courtesy counts for more than the few seconds I would save being in front of you.
