  1. So true…… I’ve been waiting for this trend to end, but as each summer arrives they keep growing in popularity. It’s also false advertising to guys when half of your face including your cheek bones are covered. I’m just saying I’ve mistaken a lot of unattractive girls to be attractive and even once thought some random girl was a friend of mine.

  2. There are plenty of girls who would otherwise be attractive if they didn’t wear those glasses in Halifax. The first thought that comes to my mind when I see them is that they have zero individuality and follow trends like sheep. Major turnoff.

  3. hmmmm … so your first thought when you see someone who wears sunglasses is that they are a sheep with no individuality? interesting. i generally think that person just doesn’t enjoy squinting. also, many things are trendy … usually trends stick around because they are comfortable/flattering or both. personally when i see someone wearing oakleys or some other 90’s leftover sunglasses i feel bad for them because they have no style. and p.s., the glasses are in no way cheap. probably cost more than your entire outfit … just sayin’.

  4. “someone who wears sunglasses”I didn’t say ‘sunglasses’, I said ‘those sunglasses’ referring to the particular style the OP wrote about. There are plenty of sunglasses out there that work well without covering 1/3rd of a face.In a decade from now, people will be looking back at photos and realize how stupid they looked.

  5. Ummm, some of us where those sunglasses because they actually protect our eyes from the sun more than small sunglasses. Just sayin!
