I realize that you are probably still riding a high from your recent electoral win and keen to get to work. But I’m pretty sure that if any elected official was greeted by an enthusiastic supporter while exiting a Dartmouth shopping mall on a Saturday morning with the words “Stick it to the ***** man,” said elected official should probably come up with a better response “You gotta do what you gotta do.” Voter apathy aside, I’d have to hazard a guess that with the changing demographics of your district, your win was as a result of votes from more than a few ***** men (and women) —Judge Dread

There is one silver lining with regard to Trump.
Putin hated the Clintons (Bill Clinton presided and influenced some of the worst economic hardships in recent Russian history and Hillary supported a no-fly zone in Syria which Putin said was tantamount to an act of war). Russia and China, although not necessarily military partners, have been posturing pretty hard over the past year in anticipation for a globalist outcome this election. Today Putin said he wants to fully restore diplomatic ties with the United States. That wouldn’t have happened if Hillary won. Trump is also against big-banks and big-corporations, if he was around for Occupy Wallstreet they would have elected him king.
I just wish the guy wasn’t such a kook, if he wasn’t saying shit like “ban all muslims, fear all people of colour, grab her by the pussy” he might be somewhat decent for the world. Alas, this is not the case.
Anybody read Naomi Klein’s piece in The Guardian. She seems to think the Dems lost because they weren’t left enough. So obviously, the best way to undercut Trump’s base is to amp up the very same white male demonizing agit-prop that drove so many non-racist, non misogynistic, non-xenophobic white males to vote against Clinton, while also pushing Sanders Socialism,- because that went over so well, outside of college campuses. She even gets in a mention of her father-in-law’s brainchild, The Leap Manifesto – Canada’s own version of Pol Pot with a smarmy smiley face.
I know the world is in deep kinchi right now, but it’s hard not to feel a little schadenfreude.
