Has anyone seen the new Christmas Carol movie trailer with Jim Carey? If you ask me, it’s a waste of Jim Carey– that guy can do so much with his face/body, why would they think they could ever truly replicate it? And on that note, if you’re making this a CG movie, why are you making every character look exactly like Jim Carey? I don’t see the point. Further more, why is there yet ANOTHER Christmas Carol movie anyway? It’s a classic story, but it’s been overdone to hell.

Why another xmas carol movie you ask? Its for the kids so fuck off. They’re going to love it and not think about what Jim careey could or should be doing.
The trailer, in 3D at the IMAX theater, was AMAZING! Can’t wait to see it!
They all look like Jim Carey because they are all played by Jim Carey. And you really think he can do more with his face than an animator could?
The other christmas carol movies (mickey mouse version excluded!) is for a more adult audience. The Alistar Simms (sp?) version would scare the SHIT out of any little kid (black and white version). It still kinda creeps me out — we watch it xmas eve every year at my house.

I just think that Jim Carey is a waste of skin… he’s never been funny to me. Look at me! I’m talking out of my ass! Literally! Wanna know what’s really funny? When he dies and they play that obit segment at the Academy Awards (probably renamed at that point to be the Frito-Lay presents the Dorito Academy Awards, brought to you by Verizon Wireless) and they come across him, they’ll play the clip of him spreading his ass cheeks during Ace Ventura. What a way to be remembered.

As for the new, the best I can say is that it will be harmless.

I love A Christmas Carol, I love CG movies, and I love Jim Carrey, so if you don’t like any of the above, kindly fuck off and don’t watch this movie. The only thing this movie needs for me to like it even more is a negative Hilary Titley review, which I’m sure is in the works as she hates everything.
NL— you’re onto something there… However, you left out that it has to be nearly incomprehensible. Every review is like this: “I have a negative opinion of this movie!!!! Maybe. But you can’t tell, because I’m gonna write this review in Haiku, motherfucker!”
jim carey’s MOVIES suck
Bring back cartoons. Disney is DEAD to me. Toy Story was great, but they went overboard making everything CGI.
hahaha. I’m not a kid, but I’m really looking forward to it. I LOVE 3D movies, and make a point to see pretty much every one that comes out. And I’m not even a big fan of Christmas. But I can’t wait!
