CELL PHONES WHILE DRIVING!!

I feel like this wasn’t an issue while it wasn’t against the law and now that it is, people are jumping all over it. What’s the difference between gesturing while talking to your passenger which a) takes longer than most phone calls b) most people actually LOOK at the person their talking to (as opposed to keeping their eyes on the road while talking into a cell)?…. What a stupid law.

I can see a reason for curbing cel phone use, if your texting or your looking for a number in your ‘phone book’ while driving. But what difference does it make if you answer the phone while driving ? How can talking while driving be any more distracting than say, wiping your kids face who’s in the back seat in a car seat while driving? Talking to the passengers ,while waving your arms about? Or drinking your coffee you’re holding with one hand while holding onto your donut/breakfast sandwich with the other? Or my very favorite, the guy going over the MacDonald bridge in morning jam traffic this past Tuesday with a large hardcover book open & covering the steering wheel !?!?But pick up your phone & say hello,while stopped at a red light & the cops pull you over .FTS answering your cel is no damn different than answering your Borg Implant…sorry your blue tooth. you want it to be illegal to use a phone while driving, then make it illegal for any kind of phone to be used by anyone. Oh, wait the cops are doing it..Taxi drivers have been doing it for years. I wonder how long its going to be before a Government rep tells each & everyone of us when to go to bed & when to wake up ????What’s really ,really,really sad is there are people alive right now who would be fine with that .-(the sheeple of this world are realy getting me down)
