To the jerk off clerks at a certain used CD purveyor…
I came in with some of my old CDs to try to sell them and maybe make a few bucks in these crappy economic times, and you barely pawed through my pile to see if there was anything the store could use. Instead, you looked at me as if I’d handed you a bag of dog crap, proceeded to look at a few of them and guffaw rudely.
All right, so maybe I’m not as big of a “music expert” as you two, but that doesn’t mean you have to be rude assholes. Music is a personal taste, and everyone is different. Of course, I’m not sure you have good taste in music, since I believe you can’t taste anything over your own “I don’t bath because I’m an indie music lover” stench.
I went to another purveyor who was much more polite than you wankers. Guess what? You’re not in High Fidelity…so grow up and get over yourselves.

FINALLY a bitch about the stuck-up pretentious pricks that work there. thank you!!
I agree, they are snots. But sometimes I kind of like it.
Yeah. High Fidelity was good.
Halifax needs a good hockey card store downtown.
Folks, “CD Minus” isn’t the only game in town – the staff at “Specific Play” and “CD Hell” are great to deal with.
Oh heavens my, record store employees with less than desirable retail skills. Call Live at 5!! We’re gonna break the lid off this exclusive story!
“Specific Play” is my fave CD store :).
Out of curiosity – what CDs did you bring in? (Not to guffaw, I promise, just wanna add more colour to the story 🙂 )
C. Mike Hunt knows the score.
and a certain store just up the hill around the corner is great as well.
I haven’t been in there much, but when I have, the staff have been friendly and helpful.
I hope the OP wasn’t taking in his old Third Eye Blind or Jagged Little Pill CDs, cuz….yeah.
No, I was taking in CDs like Pride Tiger, City and Color, and Widespread Panic…Not like those douches would care…
im entirely surprised to find that people still buy and trade in such things called CDs???
