The sad thing is if that happened nowadays, Monica Lewinsky would have her own reality show right now. I miss the good ole days when hoes were treated like hoes, not celebrities.
She did have her own reality show. It was where these guys wore masks and were rated by women based on their personality. After a couple of dates, he took the mask off and she got to see how homely he was. This is going back ten years or so. Anyway, she was the emcee and the caption was “Things are about to get ugly.”

Just because someone accuses another of jaywalking (or anything else for that matter) doesn’t mean it actually happened. OB said they were rolling into the stop sign, so the pedestrian may have been further down, either at the stop sign (at the intersection, to which OB was still rolling) or further down the road (not at the intersection). It’s not clear which. And it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the former and the pedestrian had the right of way. You’d be surprised at the number of motorists in Halifax who aren’t aware of the fact that pedestrians have right of way at all intersections, not just those with stop signs and cross walks.

Anyway, the description of events is perfectly fine. But it could very well be the case that the motorist misinterpreted crossing an intersection as jay walking when in fact the pedestrian had the right of way to cross the intersection, considered in NS (or at least HRM) to be unmarked cross walks.
I’m guessing OB is a dolt, not a pathological liar. Even if my interpretation is wrong, cars move much faster than walkers, so drivers have less to lose over a 15 second delay. So he/she can fuck off.
