So basically someone told me more than they should have about someone else, both of whom are in relative positions of power over me. Now both parties are having it out with each other, and I know about that too which again I’m not supposed to. This is making things awkward for me with the second person who doesn’t know what I know and who I’m very unimpressed with. And then on top of that now a peer who doesn’t know that I know probably more than she does, wants to tell me about her little role in the matter and I know she’s on side with the second person.

If anyone finds out I know what I know the person who said more than they should have will probably get fired, and I’ll be in shit. Worse still if either the second person, or the peer find out where my loyalties lie things are going to go downhill really fast. So basically I can’t say anything to anyone and if I do its going to be a lie and everyone knows I can’t lie.

Shit I wish no one had ever spoken to me about it in the first place.

Amid all of this vagueness I’ve already said too much.

  1. I’m picking myself up off the floor and can hardly even type but good ol’ Fat here said it best. I’ll go one over on word economy though; three words… “I know nothing”.

  2. Say nothing – just get absorbed in your work and let them duke it out. If all else fails, play dumb.

  3. turn your head and don’t get involved, because you will be the one eating shit for this somehow.ilearned a long time ago,if you aren’t directly involved, see ya.things have a habit of biting you in the ass,and i might add,nt the nice way,or with a tongue stuck out.tata,gone.

  4. oh for fucksake, rise above the bullshit of office politics, don’t involve yourself in that kind of douchbaggery. people who gossip and backstab at work are detestable & poisonous. they are not to be trusted under any circumstances.
