In light of the transit strike, I just wanted to say how warm and fuzzy it makes me to see people coming together to get where they need to go. Twitter was ablaze with people offering drives, coffee shops are offering free coffee to carpool of 4… just wow. Personally, I’d like to thank the multiple people in my own office who made sure I had a drive – otherwise it would have been a cold, rage filled hour walk to work this morning. Keep it up Hali, the strike might last 3 days or 3 months but helping each other get by is priceless <3. —Carpooling Partner and Thankful For It
