  1. If you’re talking about the company that rhymes with Dodgers, I’ll like to take a baseball bat to my fucking phone and the outrageous bill that accompanies it. Excuse my ignorance but could someone explain Skype and if it’s cheaper?

  2. it uses voip and so you don’t pay long distance because all calls are actually over the net. each call is billed the same.

It DOES have trouble though with tracking down where the call originates so if you call 911 and pass out, don’t expect the coppers to be able to find you.

  3. you don’t wanna pay for that shit, then get an airlink usb job, just lplug it in,add software to computer, and free linksys wireless. where’s that big red button hiding.the cost will be about 40 bucks, and never a cent for internet again.where ever you are in hali/dart., i used one last year for about 6 months, and the speed was comparable to that piece of shit from you know who, or even wired in net.

  4. Thanks for the info, guys. My mother’s nursing home suggested my US-based sib get it – fucked if I knew what they were talking about.

  5. The one that sounds similar to dodgers is no better than the one that has the same name as the item that hangs in church towers & tolls on Sundays ! Actually the church tower item, deliberately makes their bill so confusing they have to train their staff on how to read them ! When a bill is purposely designed to be confusing that should be where Gov intervention needs to happen…& while theGov’s at it, do something about the rape being performed on every automobile owner/driver by the insurance ripoff artists as well !

  6. I think that all this somewhat odd ‘double-speak’ is silly. Is it really verboten to name a company on here? I see that it’s in the “rules” for posting a bitch, but on further thought, it seems kinda like the worse form of censorship, and especially disturbing coming from the Coast, if that’s the case.

If I say that I think that company A sucks, that is my OPINION. It is not “libel” to give one’s opinion in this country, not yet anyway.

I’ll name a company that I think has some explaining to do, and that is “The Coast”.

I can see not allowing someone to say “HRM dumps shit in the harbour”…oh wait…um, Our national Police Force is full of pychotic bullies and drug addicts….oh wait

See, the “other” defence against “libel” is the “truth”….

I think the Coast is weak on this one.
Wouldn’t want to lose any advertising, I suppose….boohoo

  7. The Coast has no money to speak of, therefore can’t risk any potential legal bills for slander.

    Amirite Tim? 🙂

  8. BMF and others, I think the no names really only applies to the actual bitch where the editor has to decide what to post or not. The comments are directly submitted and so I don’t know if the coast can be held accountable in the same way. either way, it’s gonna take andy a while or a reported comment before he notices and takes it down…so really, call Rogers and Bell out by name…in the comment section, but leave the names out of the bitches themselves.

  9. Meh.. you applied for it and you knew what you were getting. Like you said Skype is an alternative. Hopefully in the future more phone companies will emerge so that the costs will go down.

  10. in that case. rogers sucks a fat fucking cock. 9 times out of 10 if you have a huge bill one month and look at your bill closely you’re being over charged for something.

  11. Skype is only free for computer to computer calls, not to mention that you get a tonne of spam. If you want to call from your computer to a land line, it’ll cost ya. Vonage is a good alternative, but there’s still a monthly charge.

  12. Umm….this is a pathetic bitch. I pay $8/month total for unlimited long distance in North America, and just $7/month for unlimited incoming and outgoing cell calls. The difference between you and I is that I am a SMART CONSUMER.
