From the sounds of things you might get your wish. One thing that is better about the US is that there’s an election only every 4 years.
Ummm, I voted Conservative last election (AHHHH please don’t hurt me!), not because I’m in love with the Conservatives or Stepher Harper, but because he was the slightly less worse choice between the true options to lead our country. Looks like I might have to be doing the same again next election unless Iggy smartens up a bit.
By the way for interesting and somewhat colourful Internet political discussions, check out the CBC message boards. They’re great.

Look, it is impossible to be a popular leader in a country that allows dissent. Do you understand that? That means regardless of whether it is Tom, Dick, or Mary sitting in the big chair, regardless of if they are pro this or anti that, it doesn’t matter, they will be hated.
Disagree? Then name a current popular Prime Minister or President of a free country.
Closer to home, when people complain about Harper I always challenge them. What don’t you like? They always say – Oh he’s creepy, oh his eyes are funny, oh he doesn’t like the Maritimes. Nothing solid, nothing specific, nothing real.
So I’ll challenge the OP. What don’t you like? Be specific, give a handful, not a million.

But then again it may not exist, but why confuse things with facts. Afterall politics and facts don’t mix.
Harper won’t lose an election against Ignatieff. I voted Liberal with Dion last time and thought Ignatieff had the goods to finally properly lead the party but he’s turned into another douchebag like Dion. The Liberals won’t win until Justin Trudeau takes over, and believe me, it will happen.
