To the female metro transit driver who was a passenger on the #52 bus route to Mumford road…………get up off your ass and offer your free seat to someone on a packed bus who actually pays for their ride. I don’t think that your lunch bag paid for the seat next to you either. You’re a dumb ass.

Some of these drivers really get on my nerves especially those 2 twins they hired.
You should have sat on her lunch. I would have. If you see this lazy cow doing it again, just plunk your ass right down on top of her lunch. If she says anything to you, merely shrug your shoulders and say “Meh. I paid for my seat. Did your lunch?”. WTF is she gonna say to that? Nothing.
wow, is it just me or have people really got a hate on for the 52? I haven’t taken it in over a year but it would seem I should probably keep that record going.
It may be based on here-say but two posts in three days can’t be wrong… Screw you 52!
Was there something preventing you from politely asking her to move her lunch so you could sit down?
zZz, I get the 52 twice a day and it’s fine. You just have to deal with the assholes.
Hello iPod and a high tolerance for stupidity.
What kind of cunt doesnt move her lunch under her seat or on her lap on a packed bus anyway? Fuck her, guess she isnt used to sitting next to people being a driver.
I understand that people have the option to ask people to move their shit for a seat on the bus, but have we really gotten to the point that people don’t have to be polite on their own anymore. Common curtesy dictates that you do things without being asked, like let people sit down on the bus, others shouldn’t have to bring it up first. I’m sick of the argument “Well if you didn’t say something to them for being a dick, then you have no right to say anything”.
You should grow a set and just ask them to move their lunch, problem solved. If that doesn’t work, just start to sit down so they’re forced to move, then give them a nice smirk that shouts “fuck you!”.
Maybe she was off in her own little world and didn’t even realize she was being inconsiderate. I know I’ve spaced out on the bus many times before. Instead of playing the victim card (whoa is me, I was wronged) why not just be a tiny bit assertive and just ask her to move. I’d say there’s a 99.9 percent chance she would have. Stop being passive aggressive.
If you don’t have the balls to ask someone to move their bag so you may have a seat or push over or say is anyone sitting there? The you deserve to stand. This is something you can fix yourself.
You shouldn’t have to ask some space cadet to move her lunch from taking up an entire seat. If she’s a freakin’ bus driver, she should know the simple what not to do’s on a bus.
Seriously, kids. Why is it so hard to ask people to move something? If you can ask a bartender for a gin and tonic you can ask any other person to move their bag on a bus.
yup, you could have asked her to move it. but as PeopleareStupid alluded to…why the fuck should we have to. have people today lost all sense of decency that they constantly have to be reminded?
if i was to point out to people all the inconsiderate things i see them doing id have to quit my job to find the time.
sometimes its just easier to suck it up and sit on the next seat or stand rather than chew the head off some space cadet. its an all you can eat buffet these days.
The 52 isn’t so bad in the early morning (I guess the regular 52 riff raff doesn’t get up that early), but going home after work during rush hour (or during the afternoons/evenings on weekends) it SUCKS. It smells too.
Anyway, I agree: ask them to move their shit, but, as a metro transit employee in uniform, this bitch should know better. Maybe it was the same bitch who treats the female passengers like shit, yet is sweet as pie to most male passengers? She’s a huge sour puss to anyone that isn’t a potential fuck, I’m convinced.
I do agree the driver should have known better than to have her lunch hog a seat on a crowded bus. That said, there was a comment above about people spacing out on buses, it happens, could be an honest mistake. I see it happen a lot. In any event, politely asking is the solution here.
Pretty Kitty, I think I know who you mean. Except I haven’t seen her act “sweet as pie” to ANYBODY. You walk on the bus, and she doesn’t even look at you. You ask her a question, and she doesn’t even look at you. She generally looks like she hates life, her job, and being alive. Seriously, why would you even have such a public job if it pains you to atleast nod?
LOL Lindsay, you’re missing one hell of a show. She used to drive the bus I took regularly home from work on one of my internships: an express bus from DT to Clayton Park and every night she flirted with anything that came on the bus that a) was under 50 and b) had a dick.
She then started driving my mom’s bus and did the SAME thing.
…picking up on a bus….classy.
Also: I just found out one of the fucking coolest drivers MT employes (for reals) lives in my building. On my floor. *awesome*
wow, two posts and no mention of it.
well if Kitty rides the 52, I may just have to make a trip…
with 20 or so work mates.
be a little more proactive on the whole pole-riding event.
I’ll give you my seat half way there…. I just gotta see it.
