To the taxi driver who reprimanded me for crossing Le Marchant and “surprising” him:
You were half a block away when I started – yes, I saw you- and if you can’t see me then maybe those aviator shades need to come off. More to the point, it’s a university campus. What do you expect?
I was in Ottawa recently and far be it for me to praise Upper Canada but those towns do do one thing right: lovely bike/walk lanes through the prettiest areas and that deliver you right to where you need to go. Hali could take a note.

And you can tell it’s part of the campus from the rest of the city, how? There are no signs indicating it’s a campus or that you’ve entered a campus area.
Put up some of those “student crossing” signs.
I was in Ottawa last year, and there is no way you would have made it if you walked in front of a moving car….keep walking in front of moving traffic, you’ll learn your lesson
and another arrogant driver speaks his mind…. get out of your fucking car you lazy shit- it’s halifax!
If you’re a taxi driver in Halifax, but you don’t know where the Dal campus starts and ends, you should get a new job.
PAS, think about it. How would cabbies know that when most of them can’t speak English.
Ottawa also has the transitway.
Oh transitway….how I miss thee *tear*
I just have 2 questions about this transitway. How much and give it to me.
