I took my Mom in her wheelchair (who is ill with a terminal disease) and my 5 year old on his bike around 5 corners in Dartmouth and proceeded to lose our camera… I went right back out within 15 minutes of losing it and it was gone.

I understand a camera is worth a lot of money and you can totally keep that – I just really want the memory card from it. So many important pictures on there of my Mom & son. No questions asked if you know of it’s whereabouts… And to the crazy guy at the pawn shop – thanks for making my bad day even worse by yelling at me because apparently I dared to ask him about said camera anyway please return if you know where it is! —Hoping for Help

  1. I hope you get your camera/card back.

Regarding the angry pawn shop guy, well of course he got angry. Pawn shop guys hate it when people come in and identify their “lost” property. Hey, “fencing” is a tough business but somebody’s gotta do it.

  2. was it that scary pawn shop on portland? I wouldn’t go in there if you paid me. Friggin’ creepy.

  3. there’s a few out there… a couple in dartmouth… one in fairview…
I miss the one on Barrington.

  4. if it was a decent job, then it it was probly picked up and traded for drugs shortly there after.

  5. I tried looking up the one in fairview on streetview but, to my surprise, that short stretch of the street isn’t available?!?!?!
    craziness.
I can see EVERYTHING around it but it’s in the middle of the section they didn’t bother with.

You know where I mean, don’t you LS?
the one with the Red sign near the tanning place… just down from dutchies.

  6. jennier – the guy on Portland has been a prick for at least 20 years, perhaps even born that way. I hate walking past the dump. Maybe a Fire Inspector would solve the problem.
