Here’s a ‘word’ of advice: CanjetAir Canada sucks, has always sucked and will suck for years to come.
I first travelled on Air Canada, and I have to say never again will i ever travel on their airlines AGAIN!!! Personally i like WestJet..lol
The “Flying Gonad” is a joke.Bad management, bad employees, bad service and yes, they truly don’t care.
Testify!AC lost my luggage on a trip to T.O. last August. To make a long story short I received my luggage the day before I left (6 days without luggage).All I really wanted was for AC to explain to me why I should continue to patronize them after this debacle. They never answered that question. As a result I too am done with those guys. They really don’t care.
I couldn’t agree more. AC is terrible and is only getting worse. The problem is that AC has a monopoly on flights on the eastern seaboard, especially the Hfx-Toronto, Hfx-Montreal, etc. Westjet is based in Calgary and doesn’t have as much selection when flying from Halifax (unfortunately).Also – Canjet only flies charter flights now, not regular service.
I flew AC in February from Halifax to Toronto, Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany and it was the worst flying experience of my life. First, the flight from Halifax to Toronto was delayed and I ended up leaving 8 hours after I was supposed to. So of course, I missed my connection to Germany in Toronto, and they put me in a hotel about 25 minutes from the airport, w/o any provided transportation. (And this was around 2 am) On the way back Toronto, delays again, but at least I wasn’t stranded. Within Germany and back to Toronto, I flew Lufthansa and it was the best flying experience I’ve ever had. (On time, clean, excellent service) AC needs to learn something from Lufthansa and is really an embarrassment to Canada.
