Why do people keep insisting that weed (pot) is not addictive? Why is it that the government discourages the smoking of cigarettes with all types of advertisments- scarey pictures, etc…hiding the product from the consumer…? Hey, STUPID!!!! First; Got any evidence to back up your claim? It is a combination of things in tobacco that make it a carcinogen, from the chemicals used for “slow burn” to the radioactive spray used in pest control, that are not an issue in marijuana.
Second; why not explain to the rest of us the “health benefit” of alcohol, fast food, salt, sugar, caffeine, etc…
Third; marijuana is the most versatile plant on the face of the planet. I invite you, OB, to name one that is more versatile. Search the Rick Simpson documentary in which many terminally ill people with many types of cancers/illnesses were cured. But yeah, burn anything and it produces smoke, which is harmful. Therefore, many people use vapourizers or only injest the healthy hemp seed oil. And if you’re endorsing light beer over weed, you’d achieve better results by smashing yourself over the head with the bottle.

Less than 150 years ago, we owned black people, women weren’t allowed to vote, we had no health care, 65 years of age was considered old, etc… Things changed because someone dared to think differently. Then more people began to see the error of their ways, and even though there were people vehemently opposed to those changes, the majority of people stood up for what was right and things changed for the benefit of society as a whole.
