1. Don’t get offended if you are offered a lower price. It is expected that this will happen, and you factor this into your asking price.

2. Offer a lower price, but don’t be a jerk / lowball. Be reasonable.

3. Don’t contact a seller just to say you can get it new elsewhere for the same / cheaper price. If you can, then good for you, shut your pie hole and go buy it new.

4. Be reasonable with your prices. Selling something for 97 percent of the cost new and not adhering to number 1 or 2 above, then you can go f yourself because you’re being a dumbass greedyfuck.

4. Remove your shit when its sold or you found what you want.

5. List your price – this “please contact” crap is stupid and shouldn’t even be allowed by the sites. This means that you either don’t want to sell your product, or you’re not representing what you are trying to sell properly. It’s like car dealers who want to just get you in the door…

6. Selling dinky non useful items for 2-3 dollars each online is stupid. Yes, I want a build a bear dog for $6. I’ll make plans to spend half my day arranging to meet you for a fucking $6 plush dog that some kid has probably wiped shitty, snotty dirty hands all over. Right. Ew. —Get With It Or Go Without It

  1. 7. Don’t buy your medicinal weed on kijuju and if the pick-up is to be made in a sketchy area, try to get a Coast reporter “embedded” with you. Tim’s already thinking ahead to next year.

  2. Yes, like the guy who went missing after his vehicle was advertised online …… ummm, not going to happen in this lifetime …… berry, dejesus, knight …. yes, there are BAD people out there just waiting to lure someone in!

  3. How about; If I agree to hold something for a period of time because you’re coming ” after supper tonight”, call me if you decide you’re not coming

  4. 8. Don’t post fictitious help wanted ads looking for sailors to enlist in your obviously made up Navy. You will still get emails many months afterwards.

  5. Get outta town Kirk!!! What a bunch of fools

Didn’t the captain get banned anyways? How can he run a navy?

  6. paingirl is correct. The Coast wouldn’t dare ban The Captain. It’s just been strategically advantageous to go AWOL in recent weeks. I’ve been running surveillance on the bitch board, and I’ll admit that it’s taken incredible discipline not to engage Charlie.

It’s also possible that The Captain missed you Bitches a little bit 🙂 Especially crewman Kirkpatrick, who of course has earned himself another commendation for continuing the recruiting efforts, even after the apparent demise of his Captain.

Now that radio silence has been broken I imagine The Captain will return to the battle.

  7. I knew deep down that you’d never abandon your crew Captain, I just piped the side for you.

Fool, you have just played the fool. I don’t even live in the same province as you, let alone the same town.

  8. This dillweed was selling a couch for $175. It was a nice couch and, ok, probably worth a bit more than that but that was the price he stated.

When i emailed him about it, he said that his most recent offer was $250. Which of course i didn’t believe for a second. That ad had been up for AGES, reposted multiple times, which means that he tried this trick with everyone who contacted him and, like me, they simply stopped talking to him.

I hope the fucking thing is still sitting there with that fake price on it, rotting.

That is a sign of a dumb businessman. If you WANT to sell something at a certain price, quote a HIGHER one and let someone talk you down to the price you want.

Backasswards business practices make me nervous. I don’t like to give people like that a penny… They don’t know what anything is worth.

  9. 7. Put at least one fucking picture of whatever the fuck you’re selling. People shouldn’t be expected to give a crap about something they can’t see, or only have your word about what state it’s in.

If you’re offering a rental, dumbass, then pics are a must. And don’t give a flattering side-view pic of a bedroom that’s a little bigger than your bathroom.

Don’t say pics are available on request, this isn’t a goddamn dating site. Don’t say you’ll put up pics later – why wouldn’t you bother to just put them on when you post the ad? It adds about 40 seconds to the process.
