Summer or winter the air on the busses are terrible. People are being incubated with each others colds and “funk”. I am like you and like to open some windows. I’d prefer to be chilly then breath in the dry smelly air. And what’s the the drivers getting off for thier break to puff a cigarette right back into the bus? They dont even close the door and it blows right in! The whole bus polity needs to change.

When the Bird Flu makes it to this town, I won’t be taking Metro Transit for the very reasons you’ve mentioned.
I am with you all the way! I always try to open as many windows as I can when I get on the bus, but then of course, people get mad at me and close some of them. Are they crazy!?! Do they not smell that? Do they like the stale air?! Or even better, when the bus driver has the heat cranked so high you are cooking in your seat. When I open the window by my seat, do not reach over and close it. I pay money for this horrible service, I at least want to be somewhat comfortable when sitting next to someone with bad BO.
