Bus pass
To the group of immature, loud, socially (and cognitively, by the sound of your inane conversation) stunted idiots who got on the number 1 bus near Howe Hall at around 9pm on Thursday, October 19: One of you wondered aloud in a munchkin-sounding voice, “

A woman who lived next door to my boyfriend did the exact same thing to her black and white cat. Just left it behind like a piece of garbage. Disgusts me. What does she expect the cat to do?, go to the grocery store and buy her own food. We feed her when we see her and she is so lovable but we can’t take her in because we have several cats already between the two of us. People who throw them out should have to live without a roof over their heads and see how they like it.
Where in the South End? I live on Tower Road and I know there’s construction up on South Street. Tell me where the cat was, and I’ll go save him.
Everytime I hear a story about an anailaml being hurt or neglected, it just breaks my heart. People like this are selfish, uncaring , & just plain cruel. They will get theirs before their lives are over.
Feeling – I understand that you were not in a position to take the cat into your home. No problem. But if you’re truly feeling, why did you not take the cat to an adoption centre yourself rather than leave it on the street?
I agree. I see it every night on my way to work also on the #1 route. The same exact thing. Here’s an idea for all you drunken tarts – GET A CAB. Or at least please have respect for those other people on the bus, some of us have no other choice but to take it and would rather not hear your loud, retarded conversations. P.S.: Props to the bus drivers in this city that have to put up with it.
The simple fact is that there is NO ROOM FOR CATS AT ANY SHELTERS.The shelters are over flowing now and can’t give the monsters away. Believe me, I tried. Nobody likes cats because they are disgusting.
hi, its me, the one who wrote ‘fur shame’ First the cat was last seen just outside Schooner Books on Inglis, just up from the construction on Barringinton Street so Heather, please try and find it. Second, I was unable to take Kitty to the shelter myself as I had no way to get it there, just didnt have a travel cage with me that day. Sorry.
Last I looked the bus was “PUBLIC” transit. Use at your own risk. If someone is bothering you, move or speak to the driver.
I agree, people who “throw away” their pets disgust me. Shelters are very full, that is correct, but cats certainly are not disgusting!
Gimpy – you are an ass-face…I always knew you were the fucker who tried to castrate that kitty out in the spry…anyhow who are you to say that ‘no body likes cats’?? stop talking out of your asshole you un-feeling prick…and i agree, the person who did this clearly has no concscience = sociopath = potential serial killer. It’s time for people to start respecting and protecting animals, even if they don’t like them…we have a responsibility to protect those that can’t protect themselves..
This gimpy clown says nobody likes cats cause they r gross. Really, look around the place and notice that people do love cats, myself included. The only thing gross is you. U r probably so hideous looking that u can’t stand the sight of yourself. your name is as stupid as you are.
Must have been university students. They are pains in the ass at the best of times!
You are insane. You equate to leaving a five dollar flea bitten animal that no organisation wants because nobody is willing to releive them of the ones that they have to being a sociopath…Alright, lets look at it…Sociopath:a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience. Was the person immoral for leaving the cat? Not at all, it is an animal capable for living on it’s own. Unless it was declawed, it could hunt and most times cats leave their homes to look for food and return to crap and sleep. No biggie. It can be argued that it inconviences people to have to deal with strays. So the ethical thing to do would be to humanly put the animal to sleep. THAT would be truly socially conscience. However, your statement exhibits an irrational reach in ‘logic’ that I have never encountered before. That is far scarrier than anything I have ever encountered.Remember, Son of Sam was a dog lover…
Maybe there is not enough room inthe shelters because people spend 1000 dollars on inbred cats instead of saving one that could be put down for free.
“Must have been university students. They are pains in the ass at the best of times!hate buses”Yeah! The people who are here getting an education to better their lives and communities and pumping MILLIONS of dollars into our province’s less than booming economy sure are pains in the ass! Idiot.
“Last I looked the bus was “PUBLIC” transit. Use at your own risk. If someone is bothering you, move or speak to the driver.”Wow. I guess “respect” wasn’t an option here. Same mentality as a smoker saying “if you don’t want to breathe in the smoke, then move”. Why should I have to move? I’m sitting there minding my business and RESPECTING the people surrounding me. The loud attention whores on the bus need to do the same thing. I realize that manners and respect have deteriorated in modern society, but really…is it too much to ask?BTW…”hate buses”…it’s not just university students…it’s people of all ages…your blanket statement is prejudicial and rather weak.
