This bitch is for the curly-haired woman who before getting off my bus on Friday, told me of how her friend had to quit her job because she could not get her children to day care because of the strike, and that all my friendliness does not make it better, and implying that my jovial attitude was induced only because of the big fat bonus I received. FYI:

a) I am truly sorry that your friend had to quit her job.
b) I had the same friendly, jovial attitude before the strike. I always say hello to EVERYONE who gets on my bus, and with a smile at that. So why would I change? Would you rather I curse you and scowl? I dare to be different. Ever wonder why many bus drivers are sullen and cranky if their job is so cushy, easy, and as you think, overpaid? Think about that for a moment… Something is not adding up. We should all be happy as pigs in shit! I’ll wager my big fat bonus you have not a clue.
c) We, the drivers, are not the only ones who should bare the brunt of your ire. Spew your venom at Metro Transit’s management and the people who run this city s’il vous plait, because this tango had more than two dancers, and just as much to blame for your friend’s demise.
d) As for our big fat bonus, the tax man got his fair share. In some cases more than half.

So my dear the next time you are waiting for a bus, and you see that it’s me driving, and you don’t want to be subjected to my friendly and jovial nature, then by all means wait for the next bus. Or maybe you should make up my mind what you want, because it seems I’m damned if I do, and damned if I don’t. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the trees are starting to bud… and I like kittens and sunshine, flowers and tea. Ta ta Toots! —These are a Few of My Favourite Things

  1. It’s been what a week and a half weeks and you’re back to bitching? FUCK YOU. You assholes decided to strike and pull all that shit when you out so now if you have to deal with one unhappy person I’d have to say you did this to yourself, now shut the fuck up and do your goddamned job

  2. I believe that the union was the biggest problem in this whole debacle (as unions often are). I didn’t support the strike, or the drivers, and believe that the drivers received more than what they were (or are) entitled to.

However, regardless of whether or not I support you, I will definitely appreciate a smile and a hello over a cranky disposition any day. I’m sure you’re having to put up with a fair bit of negativity now that you’re back.

  3. The thing is, you told us it was a dance… we thought it was a dance…
but it turned out to be a vile game of musical chairs and, when the music stopped,
you had a seat, the city had a seat, and rest of the public gets the shit-stick again.

  4. Seriously, fuck you. A pleasant attitude doesn’t make up for the bullshit you self entitled assholes put this city through. Because of your union’s greed the transit service will continue to suck ass and this city will continue to be stuck in the dark ages. You guys were and still are making more than nurses. You think that’s fair? You think you guys have to put up with the shit they do? You think they get to pick their shifts? You think the training you guys get is harder than theirs?

The city did the right thing by trying to keep the taxpayers best interest in mind. We plain couldn’t afford the system the way it was and you pricks wanted more, obviously not giving 2 squirts of piss about the people who support you, we the public and the riders.

Anyone you know lose their job due to the strike? What if the shoe was on the other foot, wouldn’t you sneer at someone trying to suck your ass after they held you hostage?

    Fuck you right to hell.

  5. At the end of the day, OB, you were okay with leaving the elderly and special needs people without a way to get to medical appointments. Many had to to skip these appointments because $60 a day in cab fare wasn’t in their budget if they wanted to eat or not get evicted. That’s what you voted for….to take the Access-a-Buses off the road. You guys only cared about yourselves and nobody else. That’s simple fact.

  6. oh poor baby you only saw 2 grand of your 4 thousand dollar bonus for not working? tax man hits everyone and free money is free money. I got a bonus of 1200 last month and you know how much i saw by the time it got thru to me. 170 dollars. And i was damn happen for getting 170 dollars for doing nothing extra but work at my job. (more than you did for it)

  7. Hey OB, we once had a set up where we offered free coffee & donuts to who ever came by & wanted one at a park we were shooting at & had been closed to the public.
We didn’t have to do it, the Production thought it might be a nice way to ‘give back’ for anyone’s inconvenience.

We had people complain we didn’t offer tea, we had people complain that we didn’t have a glutten free offering…. I believe we had as many complaints as thank you’s !!!

You can’t please everyone, no matter what you do.
Most people are fucking self serving, centres of the Universe (at least in that little pea they call their brain)
So do what pleases you, especially if it makes you happy…which is probably why mass murderers always seem to be talked about after they’ve been caught as “He was just a normal every day person” ~;)
Keep smiling & when you meet a complainer…start laughing.

  8. I just wish one fucking MT employee would acknowledge that maybe people are justified in being pissed off at them. Bunch of self victimizing cry babies.

  9. Yeah More I’ve seen it so many times. People bitching and complaining about the free stuff. I think some people would actually die if they could not complain. It’s their drug of choice, right 902?

  10. You had to know this was going to happen when the drivers got back to work OP! There was a lot of bile backed up in those six weeks and it will take some time to die down as this bitchboard attests to. Doesn’t matter if you smile or not, you’re still going to hear about it.

  11. Oh goodie another troll/fanboy

I’m glad u asked wheels. I’m currently holding down a web sales telemarketing job. I used to have a nice 9-5 gig with full benefits, makin about 40k a year with lots of potential for advancement. It required a certification. I was pretty darn good at it too. Had great monthly performance reviews, always got a very high performance bonus at the end of the year, colleagues and clients loved me. I was there for about 2 years 7 months or so. Since I’m not a unionized self entitled muppet like you I got fired for some absolute bullshit that was not performance related. no warning no nothing, knew I was doing it but all the sudden decided to have a problem with it and fire me one Monday.

So forgive my “complaining” I call it calling someone out for striking, leaving old people, disabled people, students, workers shit out of luck just so you could leech even more money from us and get to keep picking and choosing when you work when job security, wages, benefits (you read that other bitch today?) are disgustingly low around here. Then complain about how much taxes u had to pay on the bonus you got, for not working. I would just appreciate a little humility from some of you that’s all, just admit that what you guys did was kinda fucked up and showed a serious lack of class, integrity and respect for your fellow human being. No matter if you agree with what happened you’re eating off it right now.

And then complaining when somebody gets on your bus and informs you that your shit in fact does stink, and you have the nerve to bitch about it? it would be one thing if you guys weren’t so shitty at your job, whether it’s the drivers or the route planners, the shits always late, you’re rude to customers, you drive crazy, get in accidents like crazy, and you curse and fuckin flip out on people. Yes there are some nice professional drivers but these unions that they all support allow and encourage the kind of shit we all witnessed.

I have no problem with unions in general but you guys are scumbags as far as I’m concerned. You really think you’re better than us. You’re not.

  12. There are people out there who drive better, have a better education, better people skills, who don’t leave the their users in the lurch, who don’t block snow-plows and who don’t get $50K plus per year (with overtime, $70K average), who don’t get a $4K signing bonus, and who don’t get a sweet pay-rise for the next three years. So pardon me if I don’t get behind your happy disposition Mr. “These are a Few of my Favourite Things”.

  13. I haven’t met you yet OP. All the bus drivers I’ve met so far don’t say boo to me when I say Hello. Must be a personality disorder which is a necessity when applying for a MT position.

  14. Sucks about your being fired the way you were Jules, someone was jealous of you that’s clear. I never said I thought I was better than anyone. Stop putting words in my mouth. And I like beaches and the colors of summer, and dancing…..

  15. Keep killing her with kindness, OB, you’ve got the right idea. The meaner she gets, the sweeter you get until she looks like a complete jerk.

Don’t get bitter—HRM’s got plenty of surly bus drivers already—

  16. You got that one right Xeno. And Jules, I bet the jealous one was sleeping with the boss. And I like butterflies, and fast cars, and a good sense of humour……

  17. You sound like a real genius wheels.

You do think you’re better than us or you wouldn’t support a strike that left our weakest out in the snow, just so you could keep a privilege that none of the rest of us get. Not to mention your service is PISS POOR!!

If I didn’t have reason to believe that the majority of you guys are unprofessional, lazy fucking assholes I would have supported your strike, but you guys want to keep providing the same shitty service at a higher cost to us. AND get a big bonus for refusing to work. Nobody else gets to act like idiots on the job and get a raise, and a bonus for walking off the job for over a month. So if you think you guys are justified in doing that, sorry, you think you’re better than us.

Even if there were another group of people who would do that, I would think they would at least be more understanding when the people who pay their salaries are a little put off. But no, you guys want to get all defensive and butthurt when someone informs you how your selfishness effected their life. As much as I would love to just ruin a random bus driver’s day, that would be a very unclassy and wrong thing to do. I’m not really going to spit in a bus driver’s face, I don’t even take the bus. However I have no problem with what the woman in this bitch did, she looked at the driver and told them, “because you guys went on strike my friend lost their job.”

How does it feel to know that literally hundreds of people were left without money to feed their kids or pay their rent because you guys feel entitled to pick and choose when you want to work, and were demanding more money when you were already paid a very generous salary to deliver an extremely shitty service, unprofessionally I might add. Tell me wheels, I want to know. How does it feel to know that old people couldn’t get their medicine that they need to live a half decent life? How does it feel to know that students who are paying thousands in tuition couldn’t make it to class? Do you give a shit? Do you really think your demands were more important than the needs of all those people? Answer me you smug little prick! Yes or no?

I have a sense of humor too but there’s nothing funny about this situation, it’s disgusting, and the city did the right thing not playing ball with you assholes, I wish they’d have let you all starve, like you did to so many of us.

Let me guess, you still think I just like to complain and have no real reason to be upset.

Once again F you. I hope you need to get to a hospital soon and have no way to get there. If you see me around town feel free to say something to me.

  18. It was the “DON’T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN PG I’M PERFECTLY CALM!!!” that made me shake my head.

Because I can picture you getting all worked up and going on a ranting spree 😉

And don’t give me any of your attitude today, mister! I’m in no mood for your shenanigans today! *glare*

Actually, I pretty much hate the world’s existence today, so I’m in no mood for anyone’s shenanigans. 😀

  19. lol! I thought that was pretty funny and well timed if I don’t say so myself PK.

Want me to come rub your feet? Bake you a cake? I owe you one for inviting me to that show on Friday. I talked to Maestro on twitter, he said he’d listen to my music!! You just let me know sweetie 😉

  20. Wow..I can’t believe I just wasted my time reading all this crap…theres 10 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

  21. My dear Jules, I did not want this strike as did many of my fellow workers. No one wins in a strike except in this case the city did. They hired Butts to do a job and he did it very well. The city started the barganing in bad faith and instead of talking, went straight away to wanting concilliation, setting the tone for the rest of this strike. It was all of course a ruse by the very good at what he does Butts. I thought the blocking of the plows a very stupid thing to do but it was not me making the decisions. I had no idea this had happened until I went to my picket duty later that evening. I was pissed when I heard of it. As for delaying Access a Bus I thought it childish but I guess it’s what they do. We did not stop them, we delayed them, again not my idea. The city and Metro Transit had lots of money at their disposal for PR(and most likely taxpayers money at that) and used as much as they needed to turn the public against us, and turn them they did. The plow shit was stupid and hurt us badly, any shread of support we may have had was again chipped at. Anyhow Jules you can talk till you’re blue in the face, it still doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about. You don’t know me at all, and you have no idea what I am really like. I love my job, but like any job out there, there are good and bad aspects attached to them. Don’t judge me until you have driven a mile in my seat.

  22. How will I know you when I see you as I’ve never seen you that I know of? 🙂 And I like fedoras and shoes, and chocolate……

  23. Like I said, it doesn’t matter to me if you agree with it, it puts food on your table. You’re part of something that basically constitutes extortion as far as I’m concerned. If i don’t know what I’m talking about why don’t you correct me or answer some of my questions, tell me why my interpretation of what happened is wrong. I’d feel the same way even without the snowplows or access a bus stuff, that was just insult to injury.

Anything you can name specifically that the city did to turn us against you? Keep towin that union line bud.

And that’s me in my picture, Einstein.

  24. Those who quit their jobs because of the bus strike did so as they saw this strike as a reason to quit, not because they had to quit.

She spread her legs. She had the kids. They need to eat. She obviouslty is a fat, lazy cunt who doesn’t her deserve children.

  25. You may have a frankenstein forehead. I may not recognise your whole head. Can’t see your eyebrows either. Might have a unibrow. And I like torque, and french perfume, and Dom Perignon….

  26. I don’t see a bolt though, I guess that’s a good thing as Martha would say. I also like trees, and driving buses, and babies babbles and coos….

  27. That’s it, just keep dodging those tough questions. You guys are capable of no wrong. Asshole.
