You told me you would put my severance package together. You told me I would get it in writing, and it would “definitely” be paid. You didn’t put it in writing within my last week of work, so I went over your head. They told me it was a done deal. One of you were lying. 1. ..shoulda got it in writing that you would get it in writing..actually yea might wanna get a mouth-piece ..sounds like a case to me

  2. Sounds like where I work, promise you one thing and then do another. No wonder anybody I meet who used to work here never has anything good to say about this place.

  3. Call The Guvmint; don’t they go to bat for you?? The former employer would have to provide an ROE at the same time so…

I worked for a guy that kept our yearly cash bonus. It was between $10K to $15K for 5 people, and once was $20K. We found that out after 12 years of him pocketing it and not telling the boss he wasn’t spreading it around. Money does strange things to people!!

  4. Weird I read this bitch today, a good friend of mine just found out that their place of employment will no longer be offering severance after ten years with the company. Apparently they can a vote on it that wasn’t advertised to any of the lower income employees.
