lady, i could literally see, on your face, in your attitude, the INSTANT you decided to make a big deal of some wayward syrup getting on your ugly ass jacket. It was approximately 7 seconds after someone graciously and apologetically gave you a damp cloth to wipe it off with while apologizing profusely for the *accident*. You’re a fucking bitch.

  1. if it was her being a sloppy pig, then fuck her. if someone else, and they offered to help, then fuck her again. i just bet she was a blond, tell me, i can handle the truth. some people just love the attention they get, from being assholes, and miserable bitches, both male and female. i had some woman’s kid, drop fucking ice cream on me years ago,did i make a big deal out of it, no i didn’t.but the woman screamed and yelled at the poor little girl so hard, she started crying. that just about made me wanna punch her in the mouth, but i politely told her, accidents happen, and it was no big deal. i just bet that little girl still has emotional scars to this day. think before you start to shoot your lips off, this could have a bad effect on some people, or could get your face punched.

  2. punch her in the face. Yup. Good idea LS… very typical. Don’t any of you have problem solving or coping skills that do not involve (breaking the law by) laying hateful hands on another? Anybody?

  3. I would have to say that LS is not particularly representative of the general population of nova scotians or the bitching community. If that were the case I think we’d read a lot more news stories that go something like “a waiter is accused of homicide after witnesses saw him strangle a customer who complained that her steak was overcooked”…

In any case, if it were me who spilled, I would have offered to pay for dry cleaning because a coat is not something you can just throw in the washer (usually) and syrup can be really difficult to get out. Though that doesn’t excuse anyone for being a nasty bitch.

  4. Kay, I’ve never wanted to hit anyone in my entire adult life. I admit, I used to beat up my younger brother a lot when we were kids, but then he got a lot taller than me around the time I became an adult and obviously could no longer solve issues by beating people. But since that lucky moment in time, I’ve never wanted to do violence upon another person. And I’m Nova Scotian.

Okay, long useless personal story aside, you might have caught the lady at a bad moment. Perhaps she’s having a bad day and the syrup was the syrup on top of a burnt waffle of a day.

  5. I can’t imagine OP apologizing unless it was their fault. I’m not justifying the customer being a bitch about it, but that’s the sort of thing you have to deal with when you’re a server. It sucks, but the occasional bitchy customer is part of the job. Keep on doing what you’re doing OP, bitch about it, feel angry, get it out of your system. Eventually it’ll just be a funny “crazy customer” story.
