The other morning, you saw that the person ahead of you at the bridge toll did not have enough quarters to pass the toll. You got out of your car and threw some in for them. I just want to say you brightened my morning with that kind act. Cheers! Hope you have a lovely weekend! —Halifax-Bound

My boyfriend did that once – without any hesitation at all! I added that kind of automatic reflex to the long list of reasons why he’s a keeper. 😀
I guess I should explain a bit more – we had just moved here, he’s barely spent time in the city (with bridges, tolls, etc) and I was thinking about grumbling – but there he goes with a quarter.
Anyway, it reminds me to be a more generous person, just because he’s so automatic at it.
definitely a keeper ralmn ♥
Love ya Ralmn – and you know why >; )

I didn’t see you along the route. I looked though. Beat last year’s time by lots… Came in under 48mins… not bad for someone who had drank too much Friday… and Saturday…
congrats sweetie, my sister-in-law was giving out those shiny blankets at the finish line
Awesome Ralmnie. SOBova didn’t even try to press-gang me. She came home chilled to the bone after playing Gunga-Din for 3 hours, so I glady made the 2nd trip to barStux for something hot & chocolatey for her. Looked for you on the news and on the Horrid’s slideshow. Glad you weren’t that poor lady losing her breakfast. Screeee!

that poor women, i felt so bad for her
Cool! I couldn’t even stand up at the finish… Ugh. I should have taken a blanket though, I got an awful chill after the race. Mmmm… I DID manage to have 3 coffees on Saturday form my fav shop on North St. Maybe that’s why I raced well Sunday?
I’ll have to go check out the horrid… I didn’t look yesterday.
