Dear proprietors of the Lebanese bakery on Agricola: Thank you so much for your kindness.  Every evening you put out fresh bags of the most delicious soft pita bread for the needy members of this low income community. This is such a kind gesture and it really helps people. Finding myself currently unemployed, I helped myself to a bag of your pita bread and it made the most delicious wraps and sandwiches for the week. The bread is so tasty, you can even eat it on it’s own with nothing on it. Thank you very much, I was practically starving and very broke. When I get a job, I promise you I will become a loyal regular paying customer. You should know you are helping to make the world a better place by feeding the empty bellies in the community. Also a big thanks to the Parker Street Food Bank down the road, you guys work tirelessly to help the hungry, unemployed and down-and-out. The older gentleman who runs it is wonderful. Just imagine if all bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores just put their leftovers outside instead of in the dumpster—it would end hunger. God bless! —Charity @ Home

The Saul Goodmans (Goodmen?) of this world would come running like I.S.I.L. to an orange t-shirt clearance at T@rg#t and launch the Great Granddaddy of all class action suits.

Appreciate your good fortune, pay it forward when you can and good luck to you.
Please try to avoid the jejeune impulse to apply local solutions to global issues. It rarely works out, and never well.
