To the guy from north end Halifax who kindly offered his boogie board to our kids on his last day in Costa Rica… Thanks! Our kids had a blast in the big waves. Then on our last day in Costa Rica we gave it to a woman selling fruit on the side of the road in Playa Hermosa. One of her 3 kids was helping her pack up for the day; his eyes (and smile) grew as wide as the pineapples he was selling when he took possession of his new boogie board. —Neigbouring Swimmers at Manuel Antonio

  1. As neat an example of “paying it forward” (Aaarrrgggh I hate that phrase – but not the concept) as I’ve read in a long time. Thanks for posting this Love, Manuel.

  2. Haha I was just about to say the dreaded pay it forward too – well it is a nice story either way
