I seen an east indian couple FREAK out at wal mart and get kicked out because of the swearing and yelling over the service in the hardware department, they had to be escorted out, kicking and screaming. When they got outside, they screamed of how everyone was racist, and if we were in india, we would be shot in our tracks.I dont care waht country he was from, he was a piece of shit anyway
PI,I couldn’t agree with you more. Precious Paris has dug a deep dark hole for himself. No one wanted to sit with him? People were talking louder in the House when he debated? C’mon! If you are sitting by yourself get off your ass and go make a friend. ‘Can I join you? Is this seat taken?’ Would all work fine in these circumstances. Also, the other non-white politicians left you in the dark when they said they don’t experience racisim in the House. In a CBC interview the first African Nova-Scotian said is was quite the opposite when he was a member. He was treated fairly and all members were extremely kind to him. So here we go again, the race card. When will this card get played out? I would have to say this is the poorest attempt to cry foul I have ever heard. A young girl walks out of the back room and looks at me and says “can I help you?” So I walk up to her, then out of no where, comes this guy FLIPPING out, walks up to her and points in her face “YOU LISTEN HERE! you need to do something with the service in your hardware department. The service is terrible and the people are terrible” And while swearing and cursing at this young girl the whole time. She started to get tears welling up in her eyes and managers start running otu of back rooms and from every which way, she had to call security. Then they asked him to lower his voice, he starts yelling louder, then his wife starts yelling. All the while, in the front of wal mart, while blocking close to 30 peoples way out of the door (NOT exaggerating, I couldn’t even get by at this point) and hes making a huge scene. They asked him to leave, then he starts swearing and freaking out and says “IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE, I WANT MY MONEY BACK” and they very calmly, proceeded to say “Sir we would be HAPPY to assist you if you would just calm down”. He was FREAKING OUT, two security guards came and had to escort him out the door, and he literally, went kicking and screaming, they had to carry him. His wife goes BALLISTIC and starts screaming at the security guards. They get outside, and they refuse to leave the entrance. The security guards then proceeded to tell them they would call the cops if they didnt leave. Then comes the “IF THIS WAS INDIA YOU WOULD BE SHOT IN YOUR TRACKS” and starts screaming FUCK YOU FUCK YOU while people and their children are around. Then he pulls the race card, and because he was screaming, and swearing in a public store, and he got removed, everyone was racist.Back to me saying, it doesnt matter what country he was from, he should never have yelled at that young girl when she did NOTHING. Not to mention when you have a problem, yelling doesnt solve it, it makes it worst. P.S. Mr Slapshot, I recorded it on my cell phone and uploaded it to youtube that same day, if you would like to take a look. I’ll accept your apology ahead of time for calling me rude and stupid. Nikki, I finally understand what you are talking about. Without the full story, it actually sounded like you were the racist saying that Indians are loud and rude etc… However, reading your last comment, and getting a full explanantion, I understand that you were actually using it as an example of people using the race card. Let this be a lesson learned to proof-read before posting. As for this link to you tube, I would like to see this rant. Nothing better than having a ethnic minority going nuts in front of a store, mostly shopped at by white people, and having it posted on the net. This is bound to make the wedge between cultural differences smaller. Well done.As for slapshot, good call. A friend of mine worked in a Wal-mart in Calgary about a year ago and had this Muslim dude push his way in front of a long line up at her cash. When she asked him to go to the back of the line, he had a major meltdown, cleared off a whole rack of display items while screaming that she was a racist and he would get her fired, etc. After he was escorted off the premises, my buddy quit. She was appalled and sickened by the whole experience. What a sense of entitlement some people have, huh? As far as I’m concerned, a jerk is a jerk no matter what your skin colour is.
I must say, I’ve seen many white asshole business people react the same way in similar situations. Maybe, they expect preferential treatment in public because they get it at work? A jerk is a jerk, and they seem to enjoy shopping at Walmart.As for Percy Paris, the MLA: We can only assume that he’s being discriminated by the other MLA’s. It’s no surprise. You can’t deny this is a pretty racist place we live in, here. And, we know that politicians in general arn’t exactly nice guys. Percy is probably a dick, and the MLA’s are probably dicks. I can’t think of another “job” where grown adults regularly heckle and inturrupt eachother, like children. Politicians have shown over-and-over how uncivilized, power hungry and corrupt they are. I’m sure they’re all bigots and assholes in the lunch room, too.
i think i have to agree with the last post for the most part. however i would like to say that even if he was not discriminated against, that someone who has faced different discrimination over a time would have a heighten sensitivity to other’s reactions to themselves. And that although in this circumstance this may not have been the case they reacted only to what they know. It is a human reaction, and to condemn them for this and label them as playing “the race card” is almost as ignorant as racism itself. tolerance is the only way to overcome ignorance.
I disagree. I could easily pull the same thing, saying “Its because Im a woman isnt it!!” women are discriminated just as much, exspecially women with tattoos, piercings, and dreadlocks. But for the MOST PART, ppl are disliked, for being shitty people, not because of their outter shell. Not always, but mostly.
