I’m just wondering, was your grandmother classified by the oil company as “automatic”? If she was, they’re not going to call and ask first if you want the refill, they just show up according to their delivery schedule. You have to call them to change the classification, they won’t call you, I know that for sure, unless the account is in arrears.
That’s why I go with the small independent companies. You get what you order. Automatic delivery may be convenient but it’s a lot more costly, in my experience.
