The people at the blood bank are great! They’re so appreciative that you’ve come to donate blood. Even though they see tonnes of people come in every day, they’re still patient and happy. The volunteer who gave me chocolate milk and Oreos was perfectly suited to be taking care of us afterwards and I left feeling great for 1. Donating blood, and 2. That it was really appreciated.

I can vouch for Ivan on that one. NOT the enjoyable experience I was hoping for!
I will say though Ivan that they have the best magazines of any waiting area I have ever been in.
i wish i could give blood.. if for nothing but the free oreos and sense of vampiric camaraderie.
Unfortunately i faint every time i try to give blood. The last time i fainted and then apparently peed my pants.
They politely asked me to take some time off.
