This is for the kind and professional staff at the animal hospital in Burnside. Your superb care and gentle empathy in dealing with one asthmatic cat and her two very worried owners made an unexpected Sunday crisis a whole lot easier for everyone involved. Thank you all so very much and major love to your unintentional therapy cats Kevin, Sophie & Gigi with the gammy leg. —Puffy’s Parents

they are the best and are there whenever you need them. hope the kountess is feeling better http://dl.glitter-graphics.net/pub/240/240…
Merci Painey. She’s feeling much better but still hasn’t forgiven me for jamming her into her carrier (Hercules was lucky with his slack-ass “labors”) I have never had such a positive experience at a vet clinic. Those folks Rawk >: )
Awww!!!
Molly and the Chickers (Oscar, heehee) send kitty hugs and kitty kisses to the Countess!!!!
OOOOOH she’s one of those “OH HOLY JESUS FRICKING CHRIST I AIN’T GOING INTO THAT CAGE OMFG NO!” kitties!
Molly sympathizes.
Oscar would too, but he’s too dumb and thinks the carrier’s a magical kitty house “ooooh wath tha, mommy?” *shakes head*
Oh yeah. The first attempt led to a breakaway and Keystone Kops chase to her “panic room” (under the bed) She hates being held so I had to grab her under the arms, stand the carrier on end and force her into it. Sort of like dropping a running chainsaw into a mortar tube. Then came a short interpretive dance piece entitled “LET ME THE EFF OUTTA HERE!” followed by a much longer aria of piteous howling. Throw in 4 cab rides by the time the day was out and my Black Sabbath was complete.
Big hugs back to Molly & Oscar. *Rrraawrr – Purr, Purr*
it was the “gammy leg” that was the give away plus you know…oskar sounds like karuso, he is always happy no matter what
hahaha, the old lets hide right underneath the bed so you kan’t possibly get me and you have to resort to a broom handle

We have area rugs and my GOD when the kittehs don’t wanna be picked up… they dig in and hang on for dear life.
It’s a two person operation getting Molly-bum into her carrier. And if Oscar’s in there… well, let’s just say there’s an aura of fur around the carrier. She hates him and would rather die than be caged up with “the turd” as she calls him.
How’s Missy Puff-Pantz doing now, Ivan???
She’s the most clingy and singy cat I’ve ever owned, but when we got her home last night she was definitely quiet and stand-offish. Don’t know if she was still dozy from the tranquilizers or P.O.ed at us.
She’s got her appetite back and isn’t making the horrible retching convulsions. We thought it was hairballs but it turns out to have been asthma. We have to give her pills for a couple of weeks but she seems fine now. Yesterday was scary >: (
stupid freakin pets ❥
Awwwwwww 🙁
Molly’s clingy and singy with me. She tries to be all “I’M MAD AT YOU, MOMMY!” but she can’t help herself but be all “I WUV MY MOMMY!”
In any event, I know how you feel Uncle, Molly’s a sicky and we’ve had some hairy scary moments with her. I don’t know what I’d do without my princess molly wally doodle bug! 🙁
Give the countess a hug, pat and an extra treat from auntie pk!
I will indeed.
And for you guys I bring gifts of…

how’s the beastie this evening captain? http://images.cheezburger.com/completestor…
She began hacking & retching again. Just got back from the emerg. where they are keeping her overnight. Roooooooooo >: (. Looks as if we may have to go with the longer lasting injections that up the ante for feline diabetes and she’s definitely in the weight zone.
Not a happy Captain tonite.
oh dear, sorry to hear that
love to SOBova xox
Thanks buddy. We picked her up this morning and she was fine but very cranky about being back in her carrier. We are going to try to get her accomodated to a puffer ; otherwise we’re looking at long term injections. No sleep and lots of stress make Ivan & SOBova something something…
Postscript Love to the folks at her regular vet’s on Tacoma, especially the wonderful lady who gave us a lift out to the ER last night and then drove us home. You folks are all magnificent and we are so very grateful.
nice lady http://images.wikia.com/muppet/images/e/e5…
Awwww poor Puffy Pants 🙁
Is she still a little crank-pot this morning? What type of injections do they want to give her?
NM, I can’t read, obv. I thought you took her home last night!
With all this carrier business, I’d sleep with one eye open. Cats are good at exacting revenge :|
