Imagine the gall of some people – talking and laughing in a coffee shop? What were they thinking?!! Oh, I know – they were thinking they were paying customers enjoying an establishment they have every right to be in. OP, just because you’re a student who’s studying, doesn’t mean you have a right to expect everyone to adhere to monk-like silence everywhere you go. Libraries, sure, but businesses and public spaces, dream on.
LOL. As I’ve said numerous times in the past, I work in a coffee shop. While I sometimes go there to study myself, it IS the absolutely worst place to get any serious studying done if you’re the type who gets distracted easily by outside interferences. Those people are entitled to stay there as long as they like. I’m willing to bet that you stayed there after your drink was over and that it didn’t last all “5 hundred hours”… haha. God. My coffee shop is so loud when it’s busy.
