Rainman freaked yesterday because we wouldn’t stay on topic in the Beford highway salt thread and stormed away mad. I think it’s her who wrote this – I think it’s a little too restrained to be our Gingy.

I started posting in the past month. There was the odd one here and there before, but I turned regular in March. The only person who ever tried to get me to leave was Gingy.
Perish forbid I chime in on this, I’ll be accused of acting like you-know-who. But, I’m still here, annoying, stoned, and weird. Get used to it. GO UNITED!
Fair point, Miles. I can’t speak for anyone else, but my own comments directed toward Ginger (or Princess Bitch or whatever she was calling herself at the time) were made because I was frustrated at her constantly yanking a thread off track, and at her childish way of claiming she didn’t care what anyone thought, while doing everything she could to antagonize everyone. Not to mention the way she tried to position herself as a victim, while simultaneously going to great lengths to piss everyone off. (No one could be so damned annoying purely by accident.)There is no concerted effort to drive away newcomers — however people who consistently reveal that they have nothing useful to say are legitimate targets, if they keep right on clogging up the threads with pointless jibber-jabber.
I’m pretty new. I’ve been disagreed with, but never flamed.

And if catlady shows up today, that will be at least 5 newcomers by my count in the last month or so that are all contributing pretty regularly with interesting/funny/not-dumb-as-a-post things to say and are genuinely welcomed. People bring the flame upon themselves because they piss people off, not because they are new. Never because they are new. Nice try/excuse ginger/rainman. Better luck next time.
I should have mentioned in my previous post on this thread that I, too, am new to this forum. I’ve been disagreed with, sometimes with some pretty salty language, but I haven’t been asked to leave, or to do anything anatomically improbable to myself.
