With all the bitches about the lack of buses to beaches lately, I just wanted to add one about the lack of ANY kind of transportation to Keji (besides renting a car of course.) I thought camping would be the cheapest way to go but almost $400 for a car for a couple of days… thats a bit much! C’mon Keji, how about a shuttle for us city dwellers desperate for a little nature?

I used to get three or four friends together, including one with a car, Offer the driver gas money and a meal or two in exchange for the drive. Split the costs among the non-drivers and you got yourself a cheap, pleasant little day trip that everyone will enjoy.
Smashing idea, TTFN. Evereyone knows at least one person who owns a car. Though gas is a bitch, between 3 or 4, its nothing. The booze costs more and the fun — priceless!! 😉
What is HRM supposed to do, start offering a bus to every point of interest in Nova Scotia? I’ve never seen Fortress Louisbourg but I don’t have a car, so maybe HRM could start offering a bus? How about transit to Joggins and the Ovens? Oh and I’d really appreciate a bus to take me to Yamouth so I can take the CAT to Bar Harbour. Sure, there should be adequate transit within HRM, but it’s ridiculous to be pissed off that you can’t take a bus to every out-of-the-way place in the Maritimes.
I think they should offer a bus to Cuba. I miss Cuba and would love to be able to go for $2. Plus I miss the latinas… sweet sweet latinas…I mean…. Too sweet!
