To the cyclists in this city: take some responsibility for your safety. Don’t be stupid and buy the $3 red light you clip onto your backpack because you think you’re meeting the minimum traffic standard. When I pull out, my truck is much larger than you are. If I can’t see you, I will win. —Motorist & Cyclist

Oh, I don’t know if you’d really call that winning…
Yeah, you’re delusioned if you think that way OB… go ahead, make your day…
there’s gonna be blood on the streets pretty soon. and it won’t be those who are in a nice steel box with wheels. a guy on a bike stands fuck all chance of walking away after a 2 ton hunk of metal nails them, what about a nice big truck, a bus, or even snow plows?
if by “win” you mean running down an innocent human being, then you are a sick puppy OB.
and what do you call it when you run down a pedestrian who isnt using a blinking light that costs more than three dollars. do you consider that a win too?
Keep your eyes on the road and drive safe you ignoprant twat.
You’d win, eh? You’ve obviously never been t-boned by 215lbs of Cape Bretoner, cruising the hilled streets of Halifax, like a bat outta hell. Wait till you try that move on the Captain, OB. The Black Bullet will take your wimpy little truck on a run for its money. Your truck will be tits up in the ditch, with you climbing out of a hole in the side, whilst I’m cycling off into the sunset.
The only person who is “winning” is, Charlie Sheen.
The Captain for the win!
Last i checked grief, and hopefully regret, from hitting a cyclist is not a win. As a driver you need to drive precariously, and yes cyclists need to bike precariously as well, but sure as hell don’t take this as a game, that is someones life!
Thanks, Troodon!
The incident would look something like this…

except, of course, with a bicycle. But the damage would be similar.
