I agree with you. But unfortunately these snobs are the ones that will more than likely be running the business some day – and our kids will be the people working for them for minimum wage.Have you been to the convocation at DAL Spring 2007??The valedictorian S. Diamond was a complete twit.I figure if Dal is such a great place to get an education (I have lots of friends and a husband that goes there – all are very intellectual) – why did she continue to be a bimbo with her speech?!?!?
Plus girls really the only time anyone has to see Uggs anymore is on Dal campus and outside the new high school. Really, move on okay? The whole Dal uniform is like sweat pants, uggs and a raggidy old scarf around the neck – boring!
HAHAHAHA….It’s so true!! I doubt MSVU or NSCAD or SMU kids wear those uggs at all!!! LOL….I personally hate sweats and would only wear them very desparately…I think it looks unprofessional to wear them while getting an education…
heh, SMU students (SMU-dents) mostly wear jeans/slacks/khakis/capris and shirts. I’m sitting in class and I don’t see Uggs at all….
I’m over 30. What are uggs?
Uggs are UGGly boot-slipper things. They are so ugly. They look stupid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ugg_boots
why does anyone care what other people are wearing to class? Perhaps you should conentrate on your own education instead of worrying about who’s got the uggs and sweatpants look going on.oh and scott? you look stupid.
There’s too many stuck up snobs at Dal. And worse they still kill rabbit, mice, cats and dogs – and lie about it. Fuck Dal.
Take your dead bunnies and shove them up your ass on Facebook.
Wow, Deb, trolling through the archives to stir up shit this morning?I usually try not to be too rude with my comments, but for you: get your fucking head out of your hole and, as cranky said, shove your stupid anti-animal testing campaign in there instead. You fucking bleeding heart ignoramus. And for anyone else who might give a shit what I think, animal testing is a regrettable but essential part of scientific research. Countless human (and animal) lives have been saved because of it (think insulin for starters) and scientific advances could not be made without it. How many more vioxx-type disasters would there be if did not screen drugs on animals first? Also, before you can do testing on animals you have to go through rigourous ethics approval. The animal care facility at Dalhousie is a well-run facility and conforms to all the appropriate ethical standards and is run by vet-staff that care very much about the animals in thier charge. The research labs and medical students that work on these animals do so only when needed (they are also very expensive to maintain) and make valuable contributions when they do. Think about this next time you have to have hand surgery, have heart disease or diabetes, neurological problems, stroke, cancer to name but a few of the areas animal testing has benefited humankind.Thank you animals for your help, And screw you naysayers.
