I do have a bitch, but I’m not quite sure how to describe it. or if anyone will have a sweet clue what im talking about. Since my Ipod broke a few weeks ago after 2-3 years of NEVER having to communicate or hear others on the bus, I’ve been forced to listen to a lot of bus chatter recently.

Now I’m not sure if I can explain this correctly, but I’m getting sooooooo sick of how every bus I take has a pair of “BFFs” on it, and while they appear to be different each time, they act the same. They play each other music off their phones with no earphone, call everyone they know to talk about “me and Jenna wanna party, what’s going on tonight?!”, take camera-phone pictures for facebook, etc. But the biggest, weirdest thig I’ve noticed is the new trend of these BFFs of talking loudly about things they were OBVIOUSLY both there for, and bragging about themselves ONLY FOR THE CASUAL LISTENER. Has anyone noticed this?

“OMG, so remember last night at the Palace when those guys bought us drinks, and then you like totally got in a fight with that girl who didnt do anything to you, but then you like stabbed her with a shard of glass? and then we went home and did all kinds of E and called neighborhood frat boys to come have a gangbang? that was soooooo hilarious!!!!”

Why do some girls think that having a best friend is something difficult to have, and therefore feel obligated to ram their friendships down our throats VIA facebook and little metro transit reality shows??

Maybe I’m crazy, but ever since Paris and Nicole, it seems every dumb girl thinks she needs a sidekick at all times, and that we NEED updates on it regularly. Reality check bitches: MOST people have best friends, the only difference is that while most of us build our on solid foundations of common interests, trust and reliability, you pick based on who would make the hottest “wing-bitch” on Dolla Drinks, and would look better next to you on your airbrushed photos, and thats why you have a new one every six months.

Sometimes i feel like there are 2 species of women, and I have no idea what went wrong with that other half. I need to get rid of facebook, and i need a new ipod asap……

your BFF

  1. You’re not crazy, but it didn’t start with Paris and Nicole, I think they’re just a part of that “other” half you’re referring to. I do think you’re on to something with that though, considering I feel quite different from most females I encounter. I just don’t know if there’s a definitive split because I tend to find myself annoyed with girls that are not so potently ignorant. There just seems to be something that puts me off with the way they think, act, present themselves. There is nothing we can do to change people, they must open themselves up, and other wise we should focus on the things that make us happy, while being thankful we are not in their mental space, because we all have faults, we all have the ability to make other people want us to not exist and you know maybe when we all actually start embracing the idea that we are all special and have so much potential to give and receive great things people will feel more comfortable with facing themselves and we can all grow even more.Just keep the love, sister, don’t let them take it from you.
