To the kind young cashier at the specialty coffee shop downtown. My son has autism, and it is at times difficult to take him places, mostly because of other people. We walked along the boardwalk, and had to decide between three restaurants within your building, it was your bright smile that welcomed me over. Thank you for not only being so sweet, but also so kind to my son. Such patience and understanding warmed my heart. For the first time in a very long time, my family felt comfortable sitting down in a place to eat. No pressure. Thank you for the experience, we will definitely be back! —Grateful Hugs

  1. This is a great love. I have a cousin with autism (he’s really high functioning) and another family member who’s not so high functioning. It can be daunting and not too many people are understanding.

    Good on the cashier!!! 🙂
