The Best of Food season at The Coast is starting up, leading to an issue in May where the best dishes, drinks and dives get their due. Any new categories we should add this year? Any thoughts of food stuff that deserves love?

hmmm, I think most are already there but I’ll throw em all out in case one is missing….
best;
burger, pizza, fish and chips, poutine, donair, italian, greek, chinese, sushi, desert, breakfast, club sandwhich, lunch spot, hot hamburg (? I know someone who tries it everywhere they go to find the best one so maybe there are more….), appetizers, nachos, cheesecake (since it probably won’t win best desert), fries, salad (? it’s technically food, isn’t it?), variety, ribs, wings, steak, deal for what you pay, indian, bbq sauce….
I don’t know, I’m out.
and finally.. a good one for places who don’t really advertise too much:

Though there wouldn’t be much of a contest, since I would obviously win.
I would love to know who has the best French Onion Soup. Perhaps you should also recognize the best of the “bus persons” in the industry. Or is that meant for a different best of issue? Well, anyway- best french Onion Soup.
Oh, and how about the best food establishments that rhyme with “Mama Fratti’s”…. (haha…. had to)
