Bert and Ernie – Gay Couple?

So sick of this shit…… who really cares what some adult, that is sitting in front of kids TV thinks about muppets or teletubbies or whatever other non-descript freakin puppets? Really, think about it. Sad, fearful man/woman spending their time in front of tv looking for this kind of stuff to criticize. I agree, with Bro Tim, they are inanimate objects for heaven sake. The people that come up with this kind of fear mongering are only going to spoil it for the kids. Period. Because now little Johnny or Janey are going to have to hear the conversation somewhere, either at school or home, that puppets are gay?!?! Who’s agenda does that fit into?? Let’s just confuse all the kids before they ever reach puberty! So so sad. These folks are obviously the type that truly fall into the definition of homophobic, as in what the word really implies (phobia), they are afraid. The only thing I want to add to this, is that I find it too bad there isn’t a common or cultural word for the gays that are afraid of straight folks. I propose we start calling them heterophobes. Because trust me, just as straight folks can be stupid and irrational around this whole issue, I know for a fact that gays can be just as fearful and ignorant. It isn’t a gay straight divide we want is it? Come on folks, we (not the fuckin puppets) are sexual beings, period. Once we can settle on that, maybe this bullshit will finally go away.
